Le Manoir des Impressionnistes - Bord de Mer in Honfleur

We had a nice stay. It is a property with a character, a hotel you take a picture of, not some generic box.
Very good service.
We were able to charge our car for free as there are two type 2 chargers on premises (one for Teslas and one for other cars).

Probably one of the best " hotel experience " I have ever had. And I do travel a lot! The Anglo - Norman mansion is beautiful, its beach view is very pleasant however you need to know that you will see the big cranes of Le Havre Harbor right in front of you. However after a while you do not see them anymore. The sunsets are striking!! The rooms are very comfortable and the beds luscious! What made our experience so special was the people running the manoir. Everyone from Mathieu to Victor ( and the 2 young ladies ) and also William the Managing director seem to be totally focused ( and happy! ) with providing you with the best experience they possibly can manage. It is very rare today and needs to be celebrated. In addition " LaTable des Impressionistes " , the restaurant of the hotel offers great service , delicious food and delectable wines. The decor and atmosphere are conducive to a very peaceful and pleasant experience. Only the best local products are offered and you can see how passionate William is about providing you with the best dining experience! I strongly suggest anybody wanting to spend time near Honfleur to stay at Le Manoir des Impressionistes you will not be disappointed! I certainly will be back

If you are ready to pay a bit of premium, this is the place you ought to stay.

Wow !! What an amazing place. We were recommended by some friends to try this place if ever in the locality and it did not disappoint. We left our cruise ship (docked in Le Havre) for a 30 -40 mins drive to Hornfleur. From the moment we turned up the beautifully manicured driveway, to the welcome, to the wine list, the menu, the service, the food, the wine, the Madame we could not fault this place ata ll and will most definitely be back.

Beautiful hotel and very sweet rooms amid some nature and facing the water. There was a nice breakfast offered, while dinner is only offered Some of the days so we didn’t experience it. We also were hoping to use the spa facilities but they have converted the spa and made changes and it is only offered to those who booked the special adjacent suite. In terms of staff, we arrived in the evening for only one night and were hoping to get assistance in booking things for the next day since it was our only day there, but the woman at the reception kept saying she was busy and didn’t get around to it, which was disappointing. In the morning however, the man who replaced her was very helpful and extremely nice! So was the woman who served us breakfast. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and the place and view were very relaxing, and just a walk away from the town of Honfleur and the beach right in front.

I wouldn’t say it’s a 5 star hotel, no more than 4. The building is beautiful, no elevator so you have to bring your baggage upstairs yourself on stairs. Keep that in mind. And most importantly there is no Air conditioning! It’s hot in the summer , was very humid when we were there. The staff is nice, gave us a fan. Fan doesn’t help much. The view is deceiving too, it is a view of the sea but it is also a view of a modern sea

Last morning there was no coffee! Machine broke! The display on it said needs cleaning! No pastry either! They give you 1 slice of ham, you have to ask for another , so we had another slice No fruit but wilted apples and oranges But no pastry on our third morning at all! Even tho it was paid for.
Also it’s far from town to walk.
There is better hotels in the area.
Restaurant in the hotel was good. Food was delicious and service was good.
If you don’t like to sweat find a hotel with AC. Or go there in April/ May.
At a first look at the hotel it’s beautiful tho.

Spectacular manor just outside of the busy city center. Close enough to easily walk to the main part of the city but far enough away to be quiet and serene. We felt like we were staying in an old world castle! The rooms are gorgeously decorated and quite spacious, as was the bathroom. Service was beyond compare from our greeting upon arrival to the tasty breakfast the next morning with the best croissants in France. A special shout out to Fred who was happy to lug our very heavy luggage upstairs and serve us apple cider as we waited for our rooms to be ready. Would love to return to this beautiful oasis some day!
