I can't tell you just how much we love this little 2 star hotel, Hotel le Terril Blanc. It's a cute family run hotel and been in the same hands since it was built. The lovely Beatrice who checked us in, is one of the daughters of the owner and she stayed up late to make sure she could give us a warm welcome when we finally arrived. The bedroom was large and incredibly warm. We really enjoyed the views across the mountain - talk about breathtaking! The hotel is clean and tidy and even though there are quite a few rooms, it never felt overrun with guests. We loved the breakfast - so much choice, sweet and savoury.....and always plenty of food to power us all through until lunchtime. The hotel is in a great location; the bus stop is right outside, plus t's only a short walk to the centre of Tignes 2100 and very close to the well stocked Sherpa supermarket. There's a huge boot room downstairs which was useful, of course! Anyhow, suffice to say we really enjoyed our stay here and we all agreed we'd happily return next year if we come to Tignes. A wholehearted five stars from us.

A nice friendly hotel in a perfect location for skiing in Tignes. We had a cozy room for 3 people with a great view over the lake. Breakfast was basic - bread, croissants, juice and coffee but perfectly adequate for us. The owner was very kind made sure we could have a very early breakfast in our mast day as we were leaving early. The free ski bus stops right outside and there is a nice, warm ski locker. There were also sledges to borrow which my kids enjoyed. Definitely recommend for a short ski break.

Very friendly and reasonably priced hotel perfectly located on the banks of Le Lac. We were a small family group looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay after a hard days skiing and this fitted our requirements perfectly. No complaints at all!

This hotel is nicely located by the lake and within a short walk to the lifts. It also has a bus stop right at the door.
We used to walk to the main lifts in the morning (couple of hundred meters away) and then ski down almost to the hotel in the afternoon.
It is a very simple hotel, but it is also cheaper than almost everything else around.
The staff was great and very helpful.
The breakfast is pretty decent, and there is a cozy bar on the lower floor.
This is a budget hotel, but I would definitely stay there again.

Good welcoming family run hotel. Great location - 400 metres from main ski lifts. Spectacular view across the lake and of mountains for all rooms, bar and restaurant. Many restaurants within 10 min walk. Great local food shop with superb takeaway options for dinner - hotel happy for you to eat in bar area. Good breakfast. Attentive and very friendly staff. Had a great week and will definitely return.

Nice place to stay for a Quick ski trip. Employee's super awesome love the lady in the front she’s super sweet even helping me with my bad French speaking skills awesome. Great place if you want clean and not too expensive.
