The series is warm and welcoming, but the building is kinda old and breakfast is quite simple. Anyway it's acceptable with such nice service.

Family trip to visit Grenoble and ski at Chamrousse. Very well located to arrive by TGV and take the bus to Chamrousse. Clean, small and comfortable room. Breakfast very good, specially if you want to save time to reach the bus or train station.

Overall good experience, great location, 3-4 mins walk from the train station and buses to the ski resorts; except the hotel should really look at customers request carefully, we booked 2 single beds, but the beds were not separated in the first night. And they said they will separate our beds in the following morning, but it didn’t happened when we returned.

This place was just OK. I know I'm in Europe, and I know I'm in an old part of France, but the room was so tiny. I could hardly move around. I mean, you know the place is small when you can't even move your legs to the front of the toilet because you're so close to the wall. The shower was super small, too. Another thing was that I was so tired because of jet lag that I hung the "Do Not Disturb" sign to take a nap, and the cleaning lady knocked on the door so loudly I almost jumped out of my bed - that's the whole reason I hung the sign up. My biggest problem was that I needed to leave one day early, and the hotel wouldn't allow me to change my day of departure. I still had to pay for a day I wasn't going to be there. I get it - I made the reservation - but come on. There are many other hotels that would be willing to work out a deal with you.

It's clean, the staff is polite, the location is great. The only gripe was the shower head and the drain under it. You would have to run the water at maximum so it would just reach you and not fall vertically down, and the drain is really narrow so if take a long shower you're filling the bathtub underneath you as well, more than ankle high. Would stay here again, maybe ask for a different shower head :).

I just loved my stay at Maison Barbillon, the location is very convenient, just 5 mins walk from train station. The staff was very helpful. Thenhotel is beatiful, I liked the room, liked the design, bed is very comfortable, bathroom cosmetics is great. I would definitely like to stay here again.

It is worth for money and the price was included the breakfast. Free coffee and water for the whole day. 5 minutes walking distance to the train station.
The drawback was the room was a bit small and we couldn't open up our big luggage inside the room

Very conveniently located. Could be quite hot in the summer even with condition on. Otherwise, all is OK. Breakfast is good. Stuff is helpful and friendly.
