Excellent location the overall experience was good especially with JoJo looking after us at breakfast service, we ate at the Folie Douce where JoJo was also working and our children had an amazing backstage tour … thank you JoJo !!!

We had a lovely stay at the Diamond rock with friends and family. Every morning we were greeted by Jo who gave us recommendations for the rest of our day. Each place we were met as JoJo’s guests and had an amazing time. She was really invaluable to our stay. Top team member.

We loved our stay at Hotel Le Diamond Rock in Tignes. Jojo was a highlight for us. She was warm engaging and ever so helpful. She is an asset to the hotel. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. Ewan and Raffaelle in the dining room were excellent too The location is perfect. Ski in and out and the rooms were very comfortable. Our only disappointment was the menu for both the French and Italian restaurants did not change for the 5 days we were there. Not ideal for half board guests. There were surcharges on a number of meat dishes and eggs - omelettes for breakfast. Really not cool in a 5 star hotel. Sadly this is not a positive reflection on the establishment.

The hotel charges you for breakfast items such as an extra poached egg 4euros! We have been to plenty of 5* hotels and none of them has ever charged for breakfast items. The week we stayed the outside hot tub was not in action ( to be honest it looks like it has been out of action for some time, the steam room was also out of action ( no one could tell why or how long the steam room and hot tap would be unavailable) the pool Was nice and warm and appropriate size but the sauna ( which was working ) could only fit two people in if you are lucky . The boot room which is out sourced was well run with very friendly helpful staff.

Our recent family getaway to Diamond Rock was, quite frankly, one of the most seamless ski holidays we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a blend of high-end boutique style and genuine alpine warmth, this is it. The "Valet" Ski Experience The ski-in/ski-out location in Tignes Le Lac is unbeatable, putting you right at the junction of the main lifts. But the real star of the show is the boot room. I’ve never experienced anything like it—the team has your skis waiting for you on the piste and practically glides your boots onto your feet for you. It’s a level of luxury that makes it very hard to go back to "normal" skiing. The JoJo Factor You can have a beautiful building, but it’s the people that make the stay. JoJo, the guest relations manager, is a force of nature. Whether she’s giving expert trail advice over a plentiful breakfast or personally hosting a VIP tour at La Folie Douce, she ensures you feel like the only guest in the hotel. She doesn’t just give recommendations; she crafts your entire itinerary. Rooms & Relaxation The Vibe: The design perfectly balances "chic luxury" with "mountain cozy." The bedrooms are exceptionally comfortable and feel truly high-end. The Spa: A perfect sanctuary after a day on the mountain. And the bowling alley is a quirky, fun touch for families. The Bar: The mixologists here really know their craft. The cocktails are top-tier, even if they come with a luxury price tag.

Diamond Rock positions itself as a five-star hotel, but our experience was far from it. Beyond several room and maintenance issues, the most disappointing aspect was the complete lack of management presence. From the first day we raised concerns, yet the General Manager never proactively engaged. Only after three days of insisting were we finally able to speak with her. In a property charging luxury rates, leadership should be visible, proactive and guest-focused — not absent. The F&B offering was particularly poor: very limited quality and constant supplements for basic items, which is not aligned with five-star standards. Ironically, the only service truly at the expected level was the Ski Room — which is outsourced and therefore not directly managed by the hotel. Overall, significantly overpriced for what is delivered.

Great hotel in Tignes. Ski-in/ski-out. The skiing is great with a massive mountain easily accesses from the hotel. It has a small pool, steam room, sauna, which are perfect to heal your tired legs after the long day of skiing. The rooms are a good size. Very much enjoyed our stay

Location Superb Atmosphere Good Rooms Superb Value Ok Cleanliness Superb Noise Level Good Front of House Superb, very Helpful especially Hugo. Staff at front desk very quick to offer assistance...even to take ski's and bring to locker room. Staff in Ski Room (Locker Room) were exceptional, assisting with boots (on and off), depositing skis on the slopes 3 meters from Ski room back door. Breakfast very Good. A special mention to JoJo who was ultra attentive and helpful to all customers. A real star. Dinner a disaster. The hotel has 2 restaurants, one Italian one french. Hotel has Chef problems (departing) and remaining staff just could not deliver a service or food befitting the hotels promise. We had booked half board which means dinners included. This was a mistake. However if the Hotel can get the chef and restaurant staff to deliver the 5star promise then this is will be a ski in ski out hotel that i will return to.

Great location. Excellent food. Reception was wonderful. The ski room is top-notch. The spa and pool are exactly as they should be—neat, clean, with plenty of fresh towels. Massage was standard (don't expect a professional therapeutic massage; it’s your typical hotel style). A few points for management to improve: A 5-star hotel should never forget to clean a guest room. Furthermore, the spa should not be accessible to children; it is inappropriate to be in a steam bath semi-nude with 10–12-year-olds present. Dinner service in the restaurants is poor for a 5-star establishment. The waiters were exceptionally subpar all three nights. In the Italian restaurant, we actually got up and left because the waiter was rude and neither spoke nor understood English.

We had a fantastic time. The stand out for us was the customer service that was led by JoJo. She was absolutely outstanding. Her attention to making sure every detail of our days was taken care of, was exemplary. She is the reason we would come back to this hotel.
