Reviews
The breakfast was wonderful- it cost €10 euros but the was a wonderful selection of hams cheeses breads etc!
The quality of the coffee was also good!
The staff were both professional and helpful- for a budget hotel- the quality was great!
Highly recommended!👌
First, the tall receptionist was incredibly unprofessional; second, we parked in the underground parking lot, paid €58 for parking, and our car was even scratched!
That evening, when we checked in, the tall receptionist was chatting with other people the whole time. We waited right in front of him, and even though he saw us continuing to chat with several people, he ignored us completely! We kept standing in front of him until he slowly finished his conversation before we were finally checked in.
At check-in, we clarified that the hotel didn't have its own parking lot, but we could park in the parking lot opposite the train station. Paying at the hotel cost €26 per day, while paying directly at the parking lot cost €32 per day. We planned to pay at the hotel.
The next evening, when we wanted to drive out, we paid €26 at the hotel. The white receptionist gave us a 24-hour parking ticket with a QR code, but when we tried to scan the QR code after driving out of the parking lot, it showed the ticket was invalid! Frustrated, we parked the car back in its spot and returned to the hotel to request a refund for our parking fee. It was during shift change, and the white woman said she was off duty and wouldn't serve us. Then the older man took over, saying he couldn't give a refund and we had to park for another day, paying an extra €26. He said he'd give us a 48-hour parking ticket to use upon checkout.
We parked in that parking lot for another night! The next morning, when we went to pay, we discovered our car had been scratched, and the bill showed €64 – the €26 we paid at the hotel was wasted… We had to find a parking attendant ourselves, show them the hotel parking ticket, and have him change the payment to €32, so we paid a total of €58 (for two days).
Since we don't speak French, we were fortunate to have a kind Arab woman help us communicate about the parking fee while we were talking to the parking attendant. Thank you!
But our car was scratched in the parking lot!!! We don't speak French, and the parking attendant doesn't speak English, so we didn't seek compensation. However, this whole experience was extremely unpleasant and incredibly frustrating!!! !
Hair dryers are not provided, and you need to pay a deposit of 10 euros at the front desk, which can only be paid in cash. You can return the hair dryer and get the deposit back.
Although the elevator says that luggage storage is charged, they actually do not charge luggage storage fees.
Washing, toilets and bathrooms are all separate, which is quite unexpected.
This hotel is opposite the train station, a one-minute walk.
