Location is quite central and convenient. Hotel is new boutique cute and modern. Room is clean overall by the looks of it, however my friend who has allergic rhinitis/ nasal allergy was suffering so there might be some accumulated dusts thats not thoroughly cleaned.

The location is excellent; just a few steps to the left of the hotel is the Chamonix town center, with supermarkets, shopping malls, and restaurants all within easy reach. The cable car, bus station, and train station are also within walking distance. The hotel is a bit old, and the rooms are small, with only a single bed and a small table. Basic needs are met, and the balcony offers mountain views...

The location was the best thing about this hotel and for my purposes

You can hear your neighbors very well. There are no sockets - to charge your phone you have to turn off the TV. There is no refrigerator or air conditioner. There are no hooks for towels in the bathroom. There is no mirror in the room, you have to go to the bathroom all the time ((( Pros: there is a kettle and tea-coffee-sugar on the floor. There is a balcony with flowers and a view. They answer letters...

The place was wonderful, the staff was really helpful and friendly, the morning breakfast was very classy

The hotel has beautiful views and very close to the lift La Praz. The room was clean and sunny. Our main issue was the poor quality of mattresses, especially on a child bed, which were super tough! Wi-fi was spotty in one room.

Fantastic location with beautiful views. Lovely, smaller, cosy chalet style hotel. Easy 5 min access into Chamonix by train or bus. Lovely breakfast. Helpful staff.

I highly recommend at this property if you are looking for quiet classy stay witch is in a peaceful area of Chamonix. The accommodations were aligned with the mountain environment and the staff was awesome!

Clean rooms and delicious breakfast. Conveniently located near the city center. Some rooms have many stairs, so be careful if you have a lot of luggage.

Location is good. Hotel staffs are nice especially yang lady helping us changing room. Also man at restaurant was so kind. Room and mood are nice and modern. Room top room we are not familiar and please be careful when making booking. Bathrooms is difficult and not functioning.

Overall, everything was good; the hotel was comfortable, the town is great, and very photogenic.

It was a much narrower space than I thought. The window was right above the bed, so when I opened the window, a dried, twisted spider fell out and I was surprised. The bathroom was also spacious, and it was a perfect hotel for a one or two-day stay.

We loved our stay at L'Oustalet. It is in a quiet street only 5 mins walk from the busy centre of Chamonix, the bus and train stations. It has free parking! Oliver and Audrey and the team were all friendly, generous and helpful. The rooms are clean and quiet with views of Mont Blanc. The pool is wonderful after a hot day of hiking and the garden area perfect for lunch - had a delicious salad followed...

Good value for money And good location, just a little over 5min walk from ski shuttles.

I stayed 2 nights and I’m in love it’s so beautiful it’s an amazing 3 star hotel. Lots of wardrobe space, no fridge but I put my water in the balcony 😂 ❄️ They lady offered to get me a kettle and they have hot water on the bar in the evening if you want to make a drink. The beautiful tea room is a nice place to have a tea coffee cake 🍰

What an amazing stay for our first trip to Chamonix. We had the 3 bed room which was perfect for us. Everything was spot on. Location of hotel is exceptional and so easy to get everywhere. The hotel has excellent facilities, a great location, and a sauna upstairs. It's a fantastic value-for-money option.

I was traveling for work at Pointe Isabelle for the first time two weeks ago, with a group of Brazilians. Everything was perfect! The accommodations, the restaurant, the breakfast, all the service, especially from Cassandra and Jacob! Very attentive, answered all my questions (I don't speak French) and helped me resolve some unusual details. Thank you immensely! I will certainly be back!

I had the best stay at this hotel all thanks to Cami (I hope I wrote the name right!), she’s beyond helpful and extremely friendly. Truly amazing and made the stay at this hotel the best it can be! It’s right on city center. location is great, price on the other hand can be better. 😊

The location is great, very convenient to the train station and close to the UTMB terminus. However, the room facilities are rather basic; the lack of a refrigerator and drinking water was inconvenient. But the staff were very friendly.

The room is very clean, the heating is sufficient, the boss has a very good service attitude and has a very cute puppy. The hotel's balcony has a nice view, the bathroom is clean and large, and there is a small bottle of mineral water prepared in the room. Overall, it is highly recommended. Considering the price, it can be said to be a great value for money!

The property was quaint and the owners were both thoughtful and assisted with all our needs. Perfect location and definitely will be visiting again soon.

Room with a balcony and a magnificent mountain view. The room was spotless, as were the sauna and steam room. Not a hair out of place! The staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was extra, but well worth it. You can also enjoy mountain views from the dining room. A lovely place to stay!

Great stay on the TMB. Our room for 3 was very small but we managed and the hotel is lovely and accommodating for walkers on the TMB. Very good breakfast. Depending on which route you are taking, the trail up to Le Flagere was only metres away.

We stayed at this hotel on our route of the TMB. It was luxurious and a lovely location, they have upgraded the facilities and it was all quite lovely. The sauna was not working, but the steam room was fantastic. Restaurant downstairs was fully booked before our arrival. Also, if this is something that matters to you, I suggest making a reservation ahead of time.

TMB AZ Had a wonderful stay at the hotel everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable with recommendations for hiking trails, bus and train. Really nice breakfast and dinner with good service. Rooms are comfortable and quiiet. We stayed before starting the TMB highly recommend.

Perfect location opposite the train station, 2 minute walk from main shops and restaurants which meant it was quiet. Lovely friendly staff. It’s obviously newly renovated so some loose ends they are just tying up but we really liked it. Small rooms and is normal in hotels in Europe but enough space for two!

We stayed at this lovely hotel in Chamonix at the beginning of September, in room 205 this time. The first time was last year! We highly recommend places like this if you’re looking for authenticity. Really nice hotel in the heart of Chamonix centre. Nice interior design in the room we lived in and apparently PERFECT noice isolation, because we were not once disturbed by the best after ski Chamonix has to offer just two floors below our window. The personnel was greasy and offered first class service and the food was magnificent.

Stayed at this gem of a hotel, not far from the main train station and 10 min walk to the bus terminal. A very good location, shops and restaurants are a plenty. The hotel is quite ok and we had a fairly big room, bed was comfy, decor was ok, bathroom a little antiquated, breakfast was ok but the dining room was dimly lit.

The hotel is in the heart of downtown Chamonix. The staff is attentive and helpful, making reservations and recommendations for our family. The hotel is dated but charming and needs updating which it will undergo winter of 2026. Rooms were very comfortable and pillows were comfortable.

Fantastic location, but the rooms and amenities are more similar to 2 stars than 3 stars.

Simple hotel but very practical and comfy. Amazing spot and great value for money. Superb breakfast.

I was lucky enough to be assigned the largest room in the hotel, even though I was alone. Thanks to this, I had a very comfortable and spacious stay. The front desk staff were also very friendly. The location was also excellent. This was my second visit to Chamonix, and I think I'll stay here again if I come back.

Clean and quiet. Good location for walking to restaurants, shops and train station. Lovely staff, polite and friendly.
