After a rocky start in Chamonix (in different accommodation) we then had the best 24hrs of our trip around France during our stay here! Chamonix is absolutely stunning and after the day hiking, the spa area was so perfect to relax and unwind. Would 100% come back and stay in this hotel, it was perfect

I enjoyed my visit. The breakfast was superb with many many choices. The spa was also a nice place to relax at the end of the day. I only gave it a nine out of 10 because I had to keep getting them to fix my key card it stopped working four times. It was a minor inconvenience as it was fixed quickly each time. The staff at the desk were very friendly and polite.

We loved our stay at Lykke. The location provides perfect access to everything in town and our room was comfortable with great views. The pool and spa area was particularly relaxing. The room had a large balcony with a view of the snow-capped mountains. It was a bit small, but perfectly adequate for one person. The room provided purified water, which was readily available, which was also very helpful and sustainable. There was a spa, but I didn't use it. The location is near the train station, and Chamonix is ​​a small town, so you can enjoy a leisurely walk.

My experience at this hotel is positive. I appreciate a lot of space for the clothes. Extra warm blanket, pillows, bathrobe, and slippers. Everything here is incredible excellent!

The hotel is very close to the cable car station, but might be a bit far from the city. The facilities are excellent, with free coffee, free snacks, and a good breakfast.

The hotel location is great. The facilities are nice and clean. The coffee and water are free, and the staff are very friendly. The only downside is that there's no refrigerator in the room.

The pool, jacuzzi, and sauna weren't bad. The Aiguille du Midi cable car was also nearby. However, since I booked a cheaper room, it wasn't all that great. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly great. The bus stop was close, so I was able to comfortably wait in the hotel lobby on my last day and then catch the bus.

A really beautiful hotel with a fair price. It’s close to the bus stop that goes to Geneva, just a 10-minute walk from the train station and only a few minutes from the city center. The pool, jacuzzi, and both dry and wet saunas were excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Amazing location and view. Restaurant menu not the greatest but the hotel is extremely close to Chamonix, and the hotel provides public transportation passes in case you are travelling without a car. Great amenities.

The hotel was good overall but the breakfast was very bad. Very limited options plus the fruit salad and salmon were stale. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to get their breakfast.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Jade and the night manager were outstanding: professional, available, and always smiling. Their warm welcome truly made my stay enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Just a minor negative point: the twinable bed wasn't very practical for a couple 😅. But that doesn't detract from the quality of the service and the team. Very nice hotel (as far as the extension is concerned). No opinion on the historic building. Spa, terrace, billiards, swimming pool, fine dining, everything is there to have a good time. Quiet location set back from the road but requires a means of transport to get to the center of Chamonix (about 5km)

Clean and sanitary, you can see the snow-capped mountains when you open the window, and it is also convenient to take the free train to the town

Following on from my stay here with my daughter in January 2025, I went solo this year and had another highly enjoyable experience. Good room (although it took me a couple of days to get the overnight temperature right - the room can get very hot and they disable the cooling airconditioning in winter {it would have been nice to have been told that on arrival]). Overall, it was good, but the water heating in the room was too old; the running water made a constant noise all night, making it hard to fall asleep. Since we arrived so late, we didn't consider changing rooms, figuring out that all water heating systems here are probably similar.

The location was fantastic, very central. Great entertainment. Breakfast was fantastic but other food options were limited. We were close to external restaurants but we were tired and cold and would’ve liked more healthier options at the hotel. The heating didn’t work in our room, service did come and attempt to fix it, we thought it was fixed but it wasn’t, it was very cold.

Stayed for 6 nights, with only one cleaning service. The good thing is that the two-bedroom apartment is relatively large, with a nice view. You can see the snow-capped mountains as soon as you open the door.

It is right next to a wide plateau where kids can run and play. Not far from the town area where you can buy and eat. 10-15 mins to the train station (Mer de Glace) and Gondola place to Aiguille du Midi. Staffs were VERY kind. Enjoyed our stay here. Free parking available.

Great staff, especially Roman and Lucy at Reception. They were so welcoming and offered great tips for dining and parking around Chamonix during UMTB week. I wouldn’t recommend staying here without a car since it’s a little off the beaten path, but it was a great home base for our trip.

Too hot in the summer and even no fan or air con during the night. Hard to breathe frankly speaking

My son and I stayed here for a weekend of skiing in February. It is a very comfortable and pleasant hotel with excellent service, very nice rooms, and a wonderful little spa. Easy walking distance from the Grandes Montets lifts. Very nice atmosphere and the owners are very nice. My son fell in the lift parking lot, and the owner kindly offered to wash his ski pants. Really lovely. Highly recommended...

Friendly owners. Our room was quite small with little privacy as the one window/door to the outside faced the dining and common area in the garden where the children were playing. Our room was also quite hot with no way to cool it other than opening the door to the shared garden. Plenty of parking and a nice part of the world to visit.

The location is excellent; just a few steps to the left of the hotel is the Chamonix town center, with supermarkets, shopping malls, and restaurants all within easy reach. The cable car, bus station, and train station are also within walking distance. The hotel is a bit old, and the rooms are small, with only a single bed and a small table. The location was the best thing about this hotel and for my purposes

You can hear your neighbors very well. There are no sockets - to charge your phone you have to turn off the TV. There is no refrigerator or air conditioner. There are no hooks for towels in the bathroom. There is no mirror in the room, you have to go to the bathroom all the time ((( Pros: there is a kettle and tea-coffee-sugar on the floor. The hotel has beautiful views and very close to the lift La Praz. The room was clean and sunny. Our main issue was the poor quality of mattresses, especially on a child bed, which were super tough! Wi-fi was spotty in one room.

The location was really great and the room was okay. However, the radiator didn't work, so I had to call the front desk every time, which was very inconvenient. The lighting in the room and bathroom was too dark. The breakfast was very ordinary, but expensive. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't go back. The staff was so-so, and it didn't meet my expectations for a 4-star hotel.

It was a much narrower space than I thought. The window was right above the bed, so when I opened the window, a dried, twisted spider fell out and I was surprised. The bathroom was also spacious, and it was a perfect hotel for a one or two-day stay.

We loved our stay at L'Oustalet. It is in a quiet street only 5 mins walk from the busy centre of Chamonix, the bus and train stations. It has free parking! Oliver and Audrey and the team were all friendly, generous and helpful. The rooms are clean and quiet with views of Mont Blanc. The pool is wonderful after a hot day of hiking and the garden area perfect for lunch - had a delicious salad followed...

I stayed 2 nights and I’m in love it’s so beautiful it’s an amazing 3 star hotel. Lots of wardrobe space, no fridge but I put my water in the balcony 😂 ❄️ They lady offered to get me a kettle and they have hot water on the bar in the evening if you want to make a drink. What an amazing stay for our first trip to Chamonix. We had the 3 bed room which was perfect for us. Everything was spot on. Location of hotel is exceptional and so easy to get everywhere. The hotel is easy to find and has a public car park next door. The car park can be very busy as it serves a number of local establishments. The staff are friendly and speak good English. Simple convenient hotel with okay rooms, good breakfast and amazing views of the mountains. About 20 minutes walk to Chamonix or use the free bus tickets the hotel provides

Overall stay was good, just that the bed sheet was not clean, feeling itch whole night when put the duvet on.
