If you book a room that does not state garden view, it may well be directly facing busy highway. If the weather is hot, and since the rooms do not have aircon, your choice is either a hot or noisy night. This is something the hotel should be more forthcoming. How about installing aircon to the highway facing units?MGM is otherwise a fine property with many positives.

After a rocky start in Chamonix (in different accommodation) we then had the best 24hrs of our trip around France during our stay here! Chamonix is absolutely stunning and after the day hiking, the spa area was so perfect to relax and unwind. Would 100% come back and stay in this hotel, it was perfect

I enjoyed my visit. The breakfast was superb with many many choices. The spa was also a nice place to relax at the end of the day. I only gave it a nine out of 10 because I had to keep getting them to fix my key card it stopped working four times. It was a minor inconvenience as it was fixed quickly each time. The room had a large balcony with a view of the snow-capped mountains. It was a bit small, but perfectly adequate for one person. The hotel is very close to the cable car station, but might be a bit far from the city. The facilities are excellent, with free coffee, free snacks, and a good breakfast.

The pool, jacuzzi, and sauna weren't bad. The Aiguille du Midi cable car was also nearby. However, since I booked a cheaper room, it wasn't all that great. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly great. The bus stop was close, so I was able to comfortably wait in the hotel lobby on my last day and then catch the bus.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Jade and the night manager were outstanding: professional, available, and always smiling. Their warm welcome truly made my stay enjoyable. Stayed for 6 nights, with only one cleaning service. The good thing is that the two-bedroom apartment is relatively large, with a nice view. You can see the snow-capped mountains as soon as you open the door.

My son and I stayed here for a weekend of skiing in February. It is a very comfortable and pleasant hotel with excellent service, very nice rooms, and a wonderful little spa. Easy walking distance from the Grandes Montets lifts. Very nice atmosphere and the owners are very nice. My son fell in the lift parking lot, and the owner kindly offered to wash his ski pants. Friendly owners. Our room was quite small with little privacy as the one window/door to the outside faced the dining and common area in the garden where the children were playing. Our room was also quite hot with no way to cool it other than opening the door to the shared garden. Plenty of parking and a nice part of the world to visit.

This hotel is overrated on this site from our experience. We stayed in 4 hotels over two weeks in Switzerland Italy and France and this rates third. Shabby landscaping greets guests, rooms feel outdated, bathroom products should be upgraded to something more suitable at this price point. Food was ok, again overrated we thought. Staff was stiff. We stayed 3 nights here after reading reviews about how good the location was and was such good value for money. All self catering apartments in chalet style. Minutes walk from town the train centre bus stops and attractions. We checked in and out outside of reception hours and was super simple. Very warm and toasty after a day in the cold.
