ibis budget Quimper in Quimper

The rooms are tiny, difficult to access, and poorly cleaned. The floors are carpeted, so it's best not to look at them. We stayed two nights, and the bathroom wasn't renovated. There's no elevator to the first-floor rooms, and although the descriptions say so, it doesn't have air conditioning. It's located in a remote part of town, like a housing estate. We won't be returning. Perhaps this is due to the limited staff.

The staff were the most unfriendly and unhelpful I have ever experienced in our many visits to France! They favoured the Styles customers and when I complained at the lack of space,kettle and sink plug I was told" what do you expect this is Budget!!"

Basic and no redeeming features except the breakfast!! No pictures no chair no bathroom( basin and shower part of the bedroom with a net curtain divider) !! No plug in the wash basin no room to close the door when seated in the toilet!! Almost all of the staff unhelpful and uncaring( one was OK who we saw on our first day and not again! Unfortunately we booked 3 night stay!) Payment was requested on arrival which we compiled with,only to realise that this was probably done to contend with complaints on seeing the accommodation...never again!!) This was the worst holiday we have ever had in France and upset me very much...to be treated with such lack of respect as to tell me on complaining about the lack of a plug...what do you expect..you booked budget!! Well budget in England still gives you a good level of accommodation and I would expect a decent hotel in France to do the same!! This holiday was like being in prison..a pokey,blank walled room with no creature comforts except for the paid for breakfast!! Never ever again Ibis Brest😡

Staff were friendly and that's about the only good thing I can say, the carpets in the common areas are filthy, there was no hot water for a shower and we were woken up at 1am by loads of drunk guests shouting. I got about 3 hours sleep. Wouldn't recommend.
