below the hotel is a bar, it is very noisy. Even with closed windows you can't sleep before 1 AM.
I will never come back to this hotel again.

Convenient hotel.
Nice hotel, well situated for centre of Rennes but difficult to find parking because of one way systems and 3 Mercure hotels in the city. Limited parking for high vehicles, most parking underground, max height 1.80m.
Very helpful receptionist. Comfortable double bedroom but tight space, one chair for a couple. Large shower unit.

A few minutes walk to the centre of the city with the river on your doorstep. Rooms are excellent.

The location is excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Tom was comfortable. We didn't try the breakfast. It seemed expensive. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived even though it was an hour after check-in began. We had to wait almost 30 minutes for our room. Other than that it was a very nice stay.

Superb stay with a team that took excellent care of us.

The room was good and the hotel was not far from the central area. We picked it mainly because it had free car parking. The parking is free but access to the small underground car park is very tight & steep, not easy if you don't have a small car.
Also we did struggle to find our way to the hotel due to the one way system

The staff could not be have been more patient, friendly and helpful - but the rooms are 2 star at best, tiny and cramped, I've stayed in larger rooms in hostels. My room was not ready when I entered it, I had to ask for it to be completed. I'd booked a twin/double, but was assigned a 'single' with a single bed, twice - when asked to be moved I got an even smaller room with no desk. I checked out again immediately for a different hotel, and was refused a refund.

It's usual to have smaller hotel rooms in France, but this was ridiculous. Not a 4 star hotel.
