Disappointing Basic. Beds were clean. Room dated. Bathroom very odd. We had a family room which had a wet room style shower. It was impossible to keep anything in the bathroom dry and it even began leaking outside the room. The shower head was positioned at a very odd angle making it very hard to shower. Great stopover stay…. This was stopover for us, family of 5 driving back to the UK from the south if France. Booked a family room, which had 3 single beds and a double. We only stayed here for one night on our way back through France, it is all fairly new interms of the rooms but it is a beautiful old building. The restaurant is very good, with an excellent selection of local wines. There is very limited parking, maybe 6 spaces in the hotel, but almost exactly opposite is an underground car park which is clean and well lit. We lost our ticket for the parking but...

I rented a room with my daughter, thankfully for just one night. It was awful; there was a musty smell, I think it was coming from the wall covering. Honestly, first and last time I'll ever rent a room in a studio apartment.

Our big room for our family is on the upper floor at the end of the building, it is one of the older rooms with worn out carpet and a few sunlight windows. If you are claustrophobic it is not suitable. Disrespectful neighbours were smoking outside the foyer, although it is a non smoking hotel. Wonderful family room that was more than enough space for our family of 5. Great location near the cathedral and town centre. Lovely staff, who were incredibly polite and kind when I had accidentally left without paying. This is a fantastic overnight stop for anyone travelling to the south of France - especially with kids. No parking in the hotel but the city parking was less than 200 meters away and reasonably priced. The hotel is centrally located to the main iconic sites and shopping area. The staff during our visit spoke English, very friendly and accomodating. The room size was suprisingly larger than we had expected and amazingly clean. There were no disturbing noice so we slept well.

Comfortable hotel in Dijon Solo traveller. Stayed at the Victor Hugo on two nights a week apart. A comfortable experience in this traditional French hotel, Very good breakfast. Very quirky - two interconnecting rooms for the price of one! Very simple and basically furbished, beautiful large bathroom and separate loo. We had the garden room (more like a small apartment minus kitchen!) so were woken by the dawn chorus! Considering we were five minutes' walk from the centre of Dijon, this was amazing - so quiet! What a gem in Dijon! Small B&B with a feeling that you are stepping back in time, with all the modern amenities included! The shower was incredible in our room. For the price paid compared to other hotels in the city, I think this hotel was excellent. The staff were friendly, everything was as advertised. Good location near to the centre of the city. Perhaps an addition to improve would be a hairdryer in the room.

The hotel is located 15 minutes from the center and attractions. It was generally quiet, but the audibility is very good from the neighboring room. For 2 stars and the price, it is a good hotel.

Short break in this hotel near the center with a very good quality-price ratio, a very friendly team who welcomed us very late. The only downside was very few parking spaces and we were fined for parking on the street near the hotel, so remember to put a small coin in the parking meter even on a Saturday morning.

This hotel was a post office in the 1700's. It still has some of it's old timbers and feels like you are really in old France! Room was tiny, though, and breakfast was lacking a lot.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, close to several major attractions and commercial areas in Dijon, and convenient for dining out. The front desk is very nice and the hotel has a sense of history.

This place knows about great service! The host was supernice and gave abboundance of tips of where to park, eat and visit while in town. He really made us feel welcome! The room was nice and the breakfast was good. It was a bit of a tricky drive with narrow streets (not anything that should be an issue but not something you're used to if you're from a bigger place).

We arrived late and were greeted and checked in with directions to the Residence Du Duce. What an amazing accommodation Le Loft, it was more like a suite with everything needed. The location was perfect being just off the main square and perfect for a little wander before breakfast, we will definitely return.

This is a lovely small hotel on the edge of the old City, easily accessible by car with very secure parking for a small fee. The lady who runs the hotel is extremely friendly and welcoming, she is also passionate about the city and keen to direct you to the sights. The rooms are really comfy and my bathroom was pretty big. Lovely, simple french hotel very close to town center. Parking is easy enough if you park somewhere round the block - we had no problems. Simple and clean rooms, lovely terrace and breakfast rooms. My husband and I loved our stay at the Hotel du Palais! The rooms are so comfortable and quiet. The staff is very welcoming. The hotel is a perfect location with walking distance to everything. Wonderful hospitality in the heart of Dijon My wife and I had a lovely 3 night stay. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and provided great suggestions for things ti see and do in the area including shopping and restaurants. The morning buffet breakfast was simple but just enough to get the day started. We also enjoyed our wine tour with Raphael to nearby towns and wineries.
