Highly recommended! The hotel is located in the centre of the cit few minutes from the train station. The room was so clean, equipped with the hair dryer, tea/coffee, towels, it was quiet with so comfortable bed❤️ I slept like a baby. The stuff is so friendly and helpful, they will make your vacation simply dreamy with their best recommendations. The view from my room 505 was magical. Unlimited tea and coffee is a big plus.

This was my first time to Nancy and my husband & I were there for a concert. The hotel was very clean and a great location. The staff was SO KIND, helpful & professionals! Highly recommend!

Very disappointing stay. The hotel is tiny, with creaking floors and a very small lift — even a travel stroller could barely fit. The shower was broken as height couldn’t be adjusted and there was absolutely no soundproofing — we could hear every step from the corridor.
Breakfast was very basic, and even simple items like scrambled eggs weren’t available, so we canceled it after the first morning.
To make things worse, despite staying for three nights, the staff kept knocking every 5 mins on our door after 11 a.m. asking us to leave.
One star for location only.
Misled by high ratings, but disappointed. Definitely would not stay here again.

Do not plan your stay in this hotel if you are going in summer. There is no air conditioning and the windows are out to the street so if you leave it open it can be really noise. We had a fan in the room which was broken and when we complaint they sag they there was nothing they could do.
The noise doesn’t come only from the street though. The building is very old so you hear every step and conversation of others staying there.
Less but not least, the rooms were not clean and the bathroom floor has never seen a good scrub.

A difficult to find hotel. Good simple rooms. Friendly staff, nice building and good location. Good stay!

There was no airco, outside was 36C and if you opened the window the noise from outside was a lot (air exhoust from a restaurant)

Stayed in Hotel Stanley in June 2025 for a primary school residential to Nancy from the UK. Throughout the whole booking process and stay the Hotel Stanley staff and management were superb. The hotel is quintessentially French and has many modern features. It has great character. The bathrooms are a little small, but this is down the style and character of the building. We had one minor issue during our stay that was resolved swiftly and professionally by the staff team. Breakfast was a good continental buffet which met the tastes of each member of our party. Would highly recommend.
Finally, a special mention to Quentin who is quite clearly a dedicated, professional and highly skilled manager.

Walls are literally paper thin. We could hear everyone in the rooms around us talking like they were in the room with us. Snoring neighbours sound like they're in your bed. You just have to hope everyone stays quiet, otherwise you're in for some sleepless nights. Shower in the bathroom was not good and nearly flooded our entire room when using it. Rooms are very small, barely any room to open a suitcase.

We had a great stay at Hotel Stanley. The people at the reception were super nice and the room was perfect for us, cute and well-furnished. The beds were comfortable and the view from the window was great, since the hotel is very close to Nancy's centre ville (and also to the station). Recommended!
