We booked a 3 people room, which had proper beds (no sofabed or bunk bed) and were quite comfy. The staff were nice. Because if this, I give 2 stars. Otherwise, the room was very lacking and nowhere near the modern and renovated look from the pictures I’ve seen here. Especially the bathroom was not neat, the shower curtain was very obviously stained and pretty gross to use, warm water took ages (really like 10 mins) and the ventilation fan at the window looked like it would fall apart anytime. (Ok and the batteries on the tv remote were held from a tape…). This was all definitely below my expectation.

Great hotel for the price and location. Paid garage parking is an option, or you can just street park like we did if only one night.

An old hotel close to the centre of Metz and the train station. Positive points include an excellent breakfast and the possibility for secure car parking close to the hotel. The rooms were clean and of decent standard, but a tiny bit worn. The only minus was the lack of air conditioning, as the rooms get very hot even with moderate summer temperatures outside.

We made a stopover here heading from England to Italy and again on return. The hotel is quite small (boutique, I would say) but perfectly adequate. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was enjoyable (really nice coffee) and was very timely, as we were a bit rushed for morning departures. The staff were excellent.

Parking is an issue. Our coach pulled up around the corner and we only had a very short walk to it. I only remembered to take a quick snap or two with my phone camera as we were leaving on our second visit, so there is not much to see as it was very foggy.

When we arrived my room had the heating on full blast and it was hard to breathe, the plug sockets are also minimal and hard to reach from the bed. However, the breakfast was nice for me but for others, the drink (milk) was out of date and rancid. It was okay for one night but I would not like to stay again.

Stayed overnight with national holidays. The staff were friendly. Room clean and tidy. The bed was really comfy and the breakfast was good. Overall a excellent hotel. I would stay there again.
