Zenith Hotel Caen in Caen

The hotel is located in a quiet area, 10 min away from the town center. The rooms were clean but the wifi was very slow even though it advertised super fast internet, the breakfast was poor and you had to boil the eggs yourself. The breakfast price was expensive for what it is, knowing that children are charged half price. The parking was big and free of charge. Overall, good for a 3 star hotel

Stayed here for 5 nights with a rental car. We chose this property due to free parking. Staff was friendly but the WiFi was not that great. The restaurant was always busy and I felt bad for the people that had to cover the front desk/ restaurant server. I think this property needed to hire an extra person.
Housekeeping was inconsistent in terms of replenishing the amenities.
Overall the people were great, location was fine too

Most of the staff had a good command of English too, which really helped.

We were only there for two nights but the hotel was very convenient for parking as we visiting the countryside. Staff were very polite and helpful. I do wish the room had a small refrigerator, just for drinks and medication that needed to be kept cool. Other than that, the room was fine.

Good hotel for a quick stop. Breakfast buffet was over priced for what you got but dinner was very good . Burgers were excellent. I would stay here again. Rooms were on small size.

We stayed 2 nights at the start of our 3 week holiday. I can't praise the staff highly enough, they were helpful & kind throughout our stay. Unfortunately, on arrival at the hotel, we had a minor car accident which put an end to our trip. Marie-Irene (the Manager?) spoke to the car recovery people for us & gave good advice in very clear English. We ate in the hotel's restaurant both evenings & were very happy with the quality & service. Most staff speak some English, some better than others, but they're all friendly & did their best. As mentioned by other reviewers, the rooms are a little compact, but they're clean & have very comfortable beds. If you want to make English tea or coffee in your room, borrow cups from the restaurant, the paper ones in the room are espresso size! Free parking is very good facility, but beware you have to cross a 2-way cycle lane to access the hotel. I hope we can return soon & we will definitely stay at this hotel again.
