Food in the restaurant was of a great standard and good value for money, would eat there again if we stayed again

My review is based on the observation that this hotel is overrated on Google Maps. It looks updated with new appliances, but the overall feeling of being welcome is missing. For Americans, it's basically a low-budget hotel like Motel 6, just recently renovated. No glasses, no coffeemaker, no water, very very small rooms, unappealing breakfast is over at 10. The main issue for me is the Air Conditioning, and I saw an earlier review with a similar complaint. We came back late in the evening, it was cold, there is an AC, but it does not turn on. Complicated touchpad, but whatever I press, nothing works. No manual in the room, I spent 30 minutes on the Internet to find a manual, and no luck. A cold and stuffy night, for 2 people in a very small room.
The hotel is about 2 kilometers outside of the town center, parking in Caen is hard to figure out for tourists. One good thing about the hotel is that the parking is easy and free.

Trés, trés bien Hotel!!! Super service, super clean, very comfortable bed.. what else do you need when you’re on the way to Bretagne and need an overnight stop.

I was with some biker friends at the Zenith hotel in Caen from Saturday 30th July 2022 to Wednesday 3rd August. we all found ourselves very well both as regards the rooms, for the parking of the motorbike, for the restaurant that always offers excellent dishes and finally for the abundant, varied and excellent breakfast.
In particular, then I have to thank the owner lady (whose name I don't know unfortunately) who very kindly took it upon herself to send me a package here in Italy with gifts that I had bought in Normandy and forgotten in the hotel. Thanks again.

This hotel was excellent and conveniently located. The staff are very friendly and were super helpful with answering our questions and accommodating our late check-out breakfast meal. The rooms are on the smaller side, but we didn't mind. It was warm and cosy with a lovely and clean bathroom. The beds were very comfortable too! The restaurant inside the hotel is amazing. I would highly recommend it! We had dinner here and the appetizers and risotto were delicious. The staff were very friendly here as well and were knowledgeable when I talked to them about my gluten allergy. There were a few options for me to choose from which I really appreciated. I did also have the Creme Brûlée for dessert and it was fantastic!

Zenith hotel is an excellent hotel located in Caen, France. The receptionist Mrs. Marie LIEGARD is amazing & welcoming with her good English. The room is very clean, the bathroom is neat, every essential items are available, the room has light everywhere, reading light is available, the wifi is accurate & electrical devices are everywhere in the room & are functioning properly.
The restaurant is super, the food is delicious, the French croissant, of course is excellent.
The guys working in the restaurant, Vincent, Sébastien & Jean-Paul are excellent & welcoming & gives an amazing service. Jean-Paul, with his excellent English is really good at communication.
I recommend this hotel for people who travel in Caen, France.
