Service-wise, one really needs to pay attention to the "late" check-in rule. The twin-bed room I stayed in was alright (bed might be too small/narrow for some). The location is also good: very walkable to the city center, and there is a big supermarket nearby.
The biggest problem was the noise outside and the lack of sound-proofing: you can hear the traffic so clearly if your room is near the road, and there were loud traffic noise (including people playing music out loud from the car) even around 2am for the couple of nights I stayed in...

Loved the stay. Even if the rooms are on a smaller side, they are clean and comfortable. Staff is very nice and helpful. Fully deserves 5/5

I stayed in Le Vendome many years back and loved the experience in this hotel. The food was delicious. Rooms good and well maintained. The staff is courteous and helpful

For one night it is sufficient, staff speaks French only! Rooms are simple but clean.

We were 3 mature males staying in Aix to watch the final of the European Challenge Cup Final and the European Champions Cup Final in Marseilles. We were staying from Thursday to Monday. The place was very clean, and you could enter at any time of the day. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. The location was great. It was easy to get to and from the bus/train station and it was a nice stroll to the centre of town.
