Can’t recommend Hotel California enough. The rooms are lavish and spotless; the location is great—very close to the center of town, restaurants, etc. The proprietress is an absolute sweetheart—kind, knowledgeable, fun to talk to! She provides a homemade traditional Georgian breakfast in the morning, and thoughtful touches like a carafe of water and plate of mandarin oranges in our room, help booking...

I recommend this place so much! Host is really welcoming and taking care of the guests. If you have an opportunity to stay in this place, don't hesitate! And.. The breakfast was delicious :)

Good facilities but the owner seems to think she is doing you a favour by letting you stay and pay her. She warmed-up by day 2 but I was ready to cancel my booking after her 'welcome'.

Very beautifull entrance, spacious rooms and walking distance to the center. Also the rooms and shared bathroom are very clean.

The owner is a friendly, hospitable woman, she provided us with a taxi (for extra charge of course), an enormous breakfast. The beds are comfortable, everything is clean and neat. Thank you for your work.

The family is amazingly friendly but doesn't speak much English. The dinner was 30 GEL, breakfast was 15 GEL pro Person. Unfortunately the pool cannot be heated.

Despite of the late hours of our spontaneous arriving the owners were very nice and pleased of our presence. I would recommend for everyone looking for sleeping in Tskaltubo. The owners are lovely!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We felt welcomed and warm. The owner met us in the middle of the night, showed everything, even made some late night food and tea for us along with his famous Cha cha drink, it was very kind. The breakfast was great as well (the price on booking includes 1 breakfast for 1 person in the room). Cooling swimming pool is a great addition. The room with stripes was very hot...

Clean and cheap hostel. Can print board cards for you. Have transport to/from the airport.

The staff are very friendly they speak English, they even asked us what would you like to have for breakfast the next day. The breakfast was exceptional the service was so good and the food was tasty It's a good place to stay.

Highly recommend to stay here, everything was great and wonderful. Rooms comfortable, pool very nice and foods so delicious, Near the hotel there are many historical sightseeings to explore the city and enjoy your stay. Definitely will come back

Great hotel in centre of interesting part of town. Close access to the places that you see on amazing TV programs about abandoned building which there are many that are occupied by squatters and refugees and an abandoned spa complex that looks like it cam from outer space. Hotel room are very clean and lift to all floors for those with lots of luggage. Very spacious restaurant. Staff polite and helpful...

This hotel was our refuge after we ran away from Plaza Hotel's overpriced filthy room. We were instantly impressed by squeaky clean entrance, incredibly gracious reception and equally clean rooms. We only stayed for a night and drank coffee and tea in the morning. The prices are very reasonable and from what we saw, you get ten times the quality you would in the neighbouring hotels.

a very pleasant and beautiful place for a quiet stay. the hotel pleases with fairly affordable prices, the staffs is very attentive, speak English and Russian. spa and treatment procedures are carried out at a very high level, not inferior to European resorts. I advise everyone who has visited the resorts of Borjomi to come to Tskhaltubo for good and inexpensive spa treatment.

Great example of 1950s Soviet resort architecture. Still possible to experience this fading luxury along with spa treatments ang beaitiful parks. Worth seeing indeed!

Very good place for various retrietments, as they have a lot of different type of procedures. Especially recommend, if you have issues with you back and artritus

The only functioning resort of 19 big Soviet era resorts.

Have to rate at 5 - cosy, fantastic atmosphere at place, good rooms, nice, tidy with every accessory provided for the stay. Location is good - near the city centre, 5/7 minutes walk. It is family run, so they really know how to treat and serve the guests. Free wifi, spacy area, terrace with fantastic views, coffee and tea service. And most importantly, they do not hurry guests for the early checkout

Very friendly service, obliging and committed. I can secretly add that the real manager is a gray cat on the sofa:) Very nice terrace and balcony. Full range in the bathroom and hot water. Purely.

Stayed for one night only, but I would definitely come back to this hotel. The view across the river, at the White and Red Bridge and the cable car are nice. In walking distance to city center and central bus station. Breakfast was ok, not a big selection, but enough to fill your stomach.

The balcony viewed the cable car and the Rioni river. Quite place to stat. White bridge is just 5 mins walk away. The staff was welcoming, kind , friendly and helpful. Recommended to stay with family. Morning view over the river was wonderful.

Nothing bad to say about this hotel. Service was really good. The receptionist was really helpful. She speaks good English and was able to help us with several issues not related to the hotel. The place is very clean (in fact brand new now), the owner is very nice, helpful and speaks English. It’s from a walking distance to Kutaisi bus station.

Wonderful place. If you want to enjoy Kutaisi, then you are here. Very hospitable hosts. Absolutely new rooms in which the owners put their soul into the construction. In addition, they took part in the production of homemade wine and immediately tasted it.
