Old Capital in Mtskheta

Giorgi was so amazing - felt like we were being greeted by a family member :) Loved our room and the balcony looking out onto the mountain and church was unreal. We didn't have the breakfast as we had to leave very early but will definitely try to come back and explore more of the town and area. If you have a car you need to ask Giorgi to open the date, it's not difficult and he was very happy to do it. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed (the kitchen just didn't have a stove which wasn't an issue for us). Will be back!

Comfortable place

I am digital nomad travelling to Georgia and Old Capital was amazing hotel to work and travel 🧳🎶

Giorgi was a tremendous host! We were the only ones staying the first night we arrived, so he gave us a larger room. A nice touch! He also gave us a ride to the train station so we didn't have to walk in the cold :)

It was nice to have access to a small kitchen-esque area; the fridge, microwave & kettle. The bed was quite comfortable & the room was warm in early December.

As well, the location couldn't be better - directly outside the wall of the cathedral.

This is one of the best places to stay in Georgia. The location is great - very central and at the same time very quiet. You are not disturbed by daily tourists coming by buses. Apart from its location and comfortable rooms (the best is upstairs - an appartment for four with a huge terrace), its owners, the family is the main treasure that you find here. We felt here not like being in a hotel but rather like staying at firends' place - everything that you heard about hospitality in Georgia can be found here. Besides that, Girogi, the owner, organises tours around Georgia and can show you many things in this beautiful country. Next time we are in Georgia, we will certainly sray here again.

Sad that walls inside the house are sooo thin. Loud and yelling guests in the next room ruined our sleep at 5.30 am..
