Perfectly decent. I stayed there for almost 3 weeks recently. Might even go back sometime. The manager Isolda is slightly deaf so if there's a disagreement, it is hard to communicate. Otherwise really nice people & it's a beautiful garden. Close to the Tbilisi Sea. You can go swimming everyday! I really enjoyed it overall. Peaceful place.

Close location where i wanted to stay nothing fancy but you can refresh your self up and be on your way specious and classic

I m surprised to see bad comments about the owner. He might have been going through some rough time. I visited tbilisi back in september 2015. and stayed there for few days. Did not have any single issue. I booked for a shared dormitory room but I was given a private room instead. super clean spacious shower n toilette outside my room . Speedy wifi and helpful owner and also a nice lady helper. There was a fig tree right outside my room towards the main road. And the lady did my laundry for free. I met the owner's cute little dog too. The place gave me really homey feeling actually and really quiet. It was a bit hard to find at first but 2 very helpful local students I asked at the metro station brought me there. The place has a garden planted with some beautiful flowers n trees. It also has a kitchen with a fridge where you can store your foods. I actually had a great time cooking :) Just so happened no one else stayed there during my stay. I felt very blessed and I was grateful for my wonderful stay.

I don't know why the previous review is 5 stars, but this is my personal experience. The host in that hostel is always drunk, mad and aggressive! He sexual harassed my girl right in front of me, try kissing her ignoring that she has already refused explicitly! I stopped him for sure and he kicked us out of the hostel and keep swearing us with all he might.

NEVER EVER EVER STAY IN THIS HOSTEL!
The host is drunk and aggressive at nights. We were supposed to stay there for 4 nights. The first night was okay, but during the second night we heard glass breaking, the host shouting over a woman, forcing his dog onto her and beating her. Then he started banging on the doors of all those who were staying there (including us) and demandingg them to leave at three in the MORNING. Little kids, grown ups - all thrown out in the middle of the night to nowhere!!! When we demanded our money back (we paid in advance), he started shouting and cursing. So WE CALLED THE POLICE and got our money back. The police should've issued a warrant against him hosting internationals under those conditions, but his aunt Isolda started talking to the policemen in Georgian and they came to some understanding, I suppose. (Or maybe she offered them money, who knows.)
The hosts are either fraudulent people who prank their guests to get money OR inadequate people who SHOULD BE IN JAIL OR BETTER YET A MENTAL HOSPITAL.
The host seemed a bit inadequate at first, too, but I associated it with autism. But now I fully realize HE IS MENTAL!!!!

Excellent value for money. Very spacious rooms. Plenty of outdoor garden space ideal for families with kids or pets. Free wi-fi. Host family is very helpful and does its best to help guests in any way possible. Neighborhood is very safe (Georgia is very safe in general), quiet and green with goo views of surrounding hills and even the mountains on a clear day. Furnishing is basic but functional. Great for budget travelers especially families and couples. About 10 min from Guramishvili metro station. 30-min door-to-door metro commute to Liberty Square and edge of Old Tbilisi. Shops, restaurant and supermarket (small) within 5-10 min. walk. Large 24x7 supermarket is 20 min. walk away. Taxi fare to city about $2.5 (GEL 5), to airport $8-10 (GEL 16-20) and from airport $12-15 (GEL 25-30).

The Host was always drunk, aggressive, violent against his aunt, screaming until 3 in the morning, we told him please, be quiet, we want to sleep, after that he kicked our door and told us to leave right away. At 3:30 in the morning...
