Where to stay with pets in Ushguli

The location is great for skiing, with easy access to almost all of the terrain around Ushguli

Lela and her family are great! We stayed for four nights on a ski trip. She cooked us great breakfasts and dinners every day, and even left food and tea/coffee out for us when we woke up very early to ski

Lela is an amazing host! Caring, heartfelt and always with a smile. Her cooking skills are one of a kind and she even preparared something vegan for me.

Such a massive variety of items, all delicious, and more than you can eat which is great considering we were doing big days of epic ski touring

We didn’t have enough cash so we ended up eating here as it seems it’s only one accepting card around the area. Went here for a snack and breakfast the next day. Staff are lovely, near our hostel.

It was some of the best food we had in Georgia. Everything she made was delicious. So good that we bought some of her homemade cookies for our trip back. The only downfall was the room

We stayed there after doing the Mestia to Ushguli hike. The place is at the top of the town. We paid 100GEL per person for room, breakfast and dinner. She told us she made good food

We didn't stay at the hotel but we stopped for lunch and ordered kubdari. It was probably the best we had on the whole trip. The bread was so crispy and the filling was delicious.

We had a lovely meal at the restaurant. The lady was very friendly and spoke good English. Another advantage for us was that you can pay with a credit card.

We stayed in the side building where the rooms could definitely use some renovation. I would definitely stay there again if we went back to Ushguli

Amazing place, with very lovely staff and good location, view from this place is amazing, hotel is located above Ushguli and you can see whole town from above and gosh views are amazing from every spot

The rooms were clean, and showers had fresh hot water. The only issue I had is no fault of the owners, but the hotel is located at the top of a steep hill

The place was clean and really good The host was very nice and helped us with everything we needed The view was amazing And the food was great The best place to be in all the village

This makes for a challenging 10 minute uphill walk if you want to return from town but you are also rewarded with great views down to Ushguli

Super, super and super good hotel!!!

"Hotel" is a bit of an exaggeration. They offer rooms with bathrooms - i. not hostel style shared facilities. The owner is helpful and speaks good English. There is also a small shop which is relatively well stocked

They claim free WiFi, but I could not get it to work. The beds aren't very good, the doors to the rooms don't close well, the toilet was leaking water. The toilet and shower combo is not my favorite

Also as opposed to other places we've stayed at in Svaneti, the owner did not offer a small snack with the tea, and charged separately for fruit (1 Lari per piece), etc

I have stayed in Ushguli twice now. The first time, we got a ride from a guy in a lady Neva who crashed through waterfalls and the second time we hiked through the mountains

Great, historic towers set amongst the rivers and valleys. Hearty breakfast and great company, a welcome rest for tired feet
