We didn’t have enough cash so we ended up eating here as it seems it’s only one accepting card around the area. Went here for a snack and breakfast the next day. Staff are lovely, near our hostel.

We had a lovely meal at the restaurant. The lady was very friendly and spoke good English. Another advantage for us was that you can pay with a credit card.

Ask for the prices before for all the dishes you are going to order. Prices are not indicated in the menu :) and the ladies are charging extra for paying by card, but with huge commission fees, like 15% for payment.

We stayed there after doing the Mestia to Ushguli hike. The place is at the top of the town.
We paid 100GEL per person for room, breakfast and dinner. She told us she made good food. She was absolutely right. It was some of the best food we had in Georgia. Everything she made was delicious. So good that we bought some of her homemade cookies for our trip back.
The only downfall was the room. We stayed in the side building where the rooms could definitely use some renovation...
I would definitely stay there again if we went back to Ushguli.

We didn't stay at the hotel but we stopped for lunch and ordered kubdari. It was probably the best we had on the whole trip. The bread was so crispy and the filling was delicious.
