Hotels in Kuhlungsborn

We had a fantastic experience from very friendly staff to outstanding services and very delicious food. The hotels is beautiful.

Nice eating, Good Service, much possibilities

We had an amazing stay at A-ROSA Ostseehotel Kühlungsborn! The hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Everything was spotlessly clean, the location was perfect, and the entire staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The food was excellent, with something delicious offered at every meal. Breakfast was perfect, featuring made-to-order omelets and a fantastic variety that truly...

Outdoor Pool and snow arround was very exciting.

A truly excellent restaurant that differs from most other restaurants in the resort. Excellent selection and excellent dishes at good prices. Great service/staff! First choice in Kuhlungsborn! Nice premises with a lovely view of the beach/ocean.

staff is very friendly; property is well maintained and in good condition; very clean and comfortable rooms; highly recommended

staff is very friendly; property is well maintained and in good condition; very clean and comfortable rooms; highly recommended Google Translate: Das Personal ist sehr freundlich; die Anlage ist gut gepflegt und in gutem Zustand; die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und komfortabel; sehr empfehlenswert

We didn't stay there but we have experienced the best services ever in their bar. We all fell in love with our drinks made by a vietnamese bartender. She really made our day, thank you.

Wonderful location, exceptional service, friendly and cooperative. In total an excellent experience.

Great location, great amenities and great service!

This hotel is centrally located in the charming town of Kuhlungsborn right on the Baltic Sea coast. The people working there were extremely attentive and a pleasure to interact with. The room was impeccable and the food there was excellent. I cannot find anything that they need to work on or improve.

The best hotel. Good location close to the beach, quiet area. Excellent room, excellent breakfast. Outstanding spa.

We went to eat in a shabby booth. Mega delicious.

Nice hotel, convenient location. Very friendly staff, clean and well-maintained facilities, excellent spa! Lovely again...

Room was beautiful and the breakfast was Great. The location was in a fantastic area.

Excellent hotell, easy parking. Beach 30 m away. Good restaurants nearby. Nice place.

We had a fabulous two night stay at the hotel. The reception was a great start. We were treated to complimentary sparkling wine while completing the form in the lounge room. This we call a nice and relaxing start! The room is rather small but sufficient as we barely spent any time in it. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. The breakfast was enjoyable and the spa fantastic. Location was great...

Loved this hotel! Our room was huge and had a nice balcony. Wish the weather had been nice, but it was rainy and cold. The staff were so nice and helpful. The Orangerie Restaurant had an amazing dessert. The dinner menu looked great, but we ate elsewhere. This property is right across from the water, and we had a bit of a view of the Baltic from our room. I would highly recommend this hotel is you...

Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Vielseitiges Frühstück in perfekter Lage zur Wasserlinie

A most lovely place to be, not more, no less.

Really chilled place here, great value for money.

The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the beach in Kühlungsborn West. The room we had was small but had everything you need. However, we missed a minibar and the power sockets are very hidden. The bio sauna is not in operation and the relaxation area with three loungers is very small. In the sauna and in the restaurant, the Corona period does not seem to be over yet. The breakfast is extensive...

Location top, first row to the sea I had a sea view room (206) Large indoor pool opens already 7.30am, small sauna, small gym Breakfast buffet wigh awesome choice of all you might need 🤣 Very spacious and modern room, kettle included Bathroom with bathtub, excellent maintained and clean Staff is extremely friendly For a moderate price you get a marvelous package!

Breakfast was amazing, the buffet had everything one could possibly want. English breakfast favourites like eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, but also croissants, rolls (the plain ones weren't the best, but the others were great), a variety of breads. Several jams, Nutella, honey, etc... Plenty of fresh fruit and fruit salads, yoghurts, quark, salads (herring, egg, couscous), plus all the usual...

Stopped here on a day trip for a cup of coffee and a very tasty an good local version of an apple strudel. Both went down a treat, I recommend this cafe if you are visiting the town or the beach.

The stay at this hotel was simply wonderful. All the staff were very welcoming, sweet, and helpful. Pure relaxation. A great family atmosphere. Even the dog felt very comfortable. We will be back soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It was just great, the staff is very nice hotel 👍 will come back.

A lovely, clean hotel. New entrance area with an adjoining restaurant. Friendly staff who were always available. The new sauna area is very nice, but some sections cost €12 per person. Our room on the side of the building was spacious, and the bathroom was modern. Parking is available behind the hotel for €10 per night. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Half-board leaves nothing to be desired...

Impertinence at dinner, endless waiting for the table to be assigned. Parking space has to be paid but is not reserved and if it is occupied you are unlucky. Only partially friendly staff. We were lucky with the room allocation.

Nice location of the hotel, a bit old, the kitchen there should maybe improve a bit. I think that one could still improve a lot there. Otherwise nice staff.

Room good Room furnishings need to be renewed. LOCATION very good beach is exactly opposite.

Wow. Just by the sea. Great staff. Friendly and helpful. Strong Wifi. Totally clean. Phantastic breakfast. They are even open in winter. Love this place. Now in winter the Baltic sea shows that it can be rough.

What is perfect: sea view, design, friendly staff, big room, big bathroom, tasty breakfast:eggs, dark bread, cheese, watermelons, kiwi and other. What is not so good: 2 single beds instead of 1 double bed, coffee is guite low quality, very soft pillows

Nice place across the street from the beach. Excellent breakfast and delicious dinner!

This is really a good place to visit in Germany. Great place close to the beach ⛱️.

Enjoyable Stay, great location- needs family focus We had an enjoyable family stay, the property is in good condition and fantastic location. Breakfast offering is the highlight. Opportunities for improvement are around family-friendliness and more proactive customer service- check-In was very cold and abrupt, almost intimidating - service in the restaurant better but again lacking of some basic elements...

Wonderfull place, breakfast so lecker.

Lovely Hotel, very nice cocktailbar. Lovely hotel in the center, just a few meters from the beach walk. Nice, modern, and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. The very talented bartender Mike is worth a visit even if you're not staying at the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay ! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless, and the location perfect to walk everywhere!

We had a truly wonderful break in Kühlungsborn. Highly recommended, especially in winter. This hotel is constantly evolving in the most pleasant way, which is rare these days. Here, coffee and all coffee specialties are still served in the morning. A white tablecloth, friendly and attentive staff at breakfast and dinner service, and fantastic homemade dishes... We had a newly renovated suite, spacious...

We were truly surprised... Super friendly staff, great welcome... fantastic room, we've never had such a relaxing breakfast as it was so peaceful... We'll be back... more expensive hotels could learn a thing or two from this... instead of always ripping people off, they should also offer some service... Thank you for the lovely stay... Karsten and Andrea

A comfortable hotel in a fantastic beachfront location. The hotel has been renovated and is very clean. The room is equipped with everything you need. The reception staff is friendly. There is a nice, modern sauna and a small pool.

Mr. E. Shabanie is a very friendly, attentive, and empathetic waiter. With his friendly and accommodating manner, he wins the hearts of all the guests. He was always on the ball, and that alone makes it worth coming back!

Very good quality, great ambience. Staff very courteous and helpful at all times. Lovely again.

The hotel is very well maintained, with a sauna and swimming pool, restaurant and courteous staff, very recommendable. The breakfast was excellent, the rooms clean and well equipped. There was enough parking space and the location on the beach promenade was great. So I would like to come back.

Excellent hotel for wheelchair users. Elevator, wheelchair lift at the entrance stairs, and ramp to the breakfast room... we were more than satisfied. Super friendly staff, great rooms, and a large bathroom with a rain shower. Cleanliness was a top priority, and the food (breakfast and dinner) was simply superb. We would gladly return.

Very nice hotel, in a quiet location. Nice rooms. Large breakfast buffet. Warm dishes very mediocre, too expensive for the quality. Drinks very expensive. There is still room for improvement with regard to the sleeping situation. Extremely hard mattresses, very simple duvets and pillows. A mattress topper is available on request. The staff is very friendly, but totally overworked. The tidying up of...

We've been coming to this hotel for several years now. Excellent service, a hearty breakfast buffet. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is always friendly and will do everything possible to ensure your guests have a memorable and carefree stay. A relaxing stay is guaranteed here. We can't say enough about it.

We have been going to this hotel for several years. Great service, rich breakfast buffet. The rooms are clean and very nicely decorated. The staff is always friendly and does everything to ensure that your guests can spend an unforgettable and carefree holiday. Relaxation is guaranteed here. You can just say thank you very much.

we were guests at your hotel from June 20th to July 4th, 21st one thing in advance it was just plain "WORLD CLASS" 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 the whole team from the reception to the housekeeping "world class" very friendly, helpful and everything very familiar. To the hotel, beautiful quiet house with a short path through a wonderfully shady city forest to the beach which can be reached in 5 minutes. reached, rooms...

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel IV Jahreszeiten Kühlungsborn. The hotel is in a superb location directly opposite the Baltic Sea, with some rooms even offering beautiful sea views. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, our room, booked through Booking.com, was no longer available due to an error. However, after about an hour's wait, the...

Beach Pearl We spent a long weekend at the Hotel Strandperle, which belongs to the Hotel VI Seasons group – both are supposedly 4-star hotels. Unfortunately, the Strandperle felt more like the less popular sister hotel. Our attractively furnished room had a large balcony, complete with a beach chair, overlooking the beach. However, the cleanliness was not what I would expect from a 4-star hotel...

Kühlungsborn is beautifully situated. You can relax on the beach when the weather is nice. If the weather isn't cooperating, there are plenty of excursions you can take by bike, car, or on foot. The hotel itself offers excellent service. Guests have access to a pool and spa area. The staff is also exceptionally friendly. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and very good.

Super Lage und nettes Personal

Small, fine room. Breakfast was also delicious and the staff was very accommodating.

The rooms are not 4 star standard and unfortunately dingy. There is a lack of attention to detail and controlling. Unfortunately, criticism is not responded to. Everything in the main house is great. The breakfast area is absolutely great. Very friendly and attentive staff.

I didn’t stay there, but had a fantastic dinner in their restaurant in Kühlungsborn on what was a special occasion to me. I did not expect food on THAT level in a small baltic resort town in February. Everything was thought-through, executed expertly, without faff, delicious. The open wines were perfectly adequate (and priced that way), the service attentive and again, without faff. Heartfelt congrats...

M. W. 4/5 33 minutes ago on Google Very nice hotel "old meets modern"...absolutely fantastic location right on the beautiful beach in Kühlungsborn West. We stayed in a room with a partial sea view for six days in April 2025, which we didn't regret. Unfortunately, we have to make a few minor deductions, such as: the ventilation in the bathroom was unfortunately broken...which resulted in a musty smell...

Beautiful hotel with an amazing view of the Baltic Sea. The service is good, everything else is excellent.

We have been here only for two nights. Definitely too short! It is a fantastic place, very relaxing. Super close to the beach. The staff is amazing and breakfast is delicious. Thank you for the stay and till the next time!

I am still in ecstasy! It was awesome to welcome 2023 here! Thanks Irina, Artur, Eddy, Anna, Diana, and everyone else I am afraid to misspell the name! What an amazing crew, service, location!!!! I already know which Hotel I want to spend my birthday next June!!!! I will be back!!

Great Hotel & fantastic Location! One of the very few true water front mansions along the Baltic Sea. Two grandiose historic buildings newly renovated with luxury qualities. The owners did an amazing job transforming this iconic ensemble into a perfect vacation and event destination within a few short years. Continuous improvements on operations and service environment will make the Meergut Schloss...

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was always fresh and plentiful.

We have a lovely room. Everything is easily accessible, whether it's shopping, the train station, or the beach... The breakfast is excellent and the staff is very friendly.

Unfortunately, it's no longer a family-run hotel. The service leaves much to be desired, which isn't the fault of the staff but rather the owner. The staff follow regulations, which is fine. However, they cut corners on everything at breakfast; having stayed there several times, I can attest to this. The staff is constantly working, and I wonder if this is sustainable in the long run. I'm not sure...

I am here again and I am very satisfied! Unfortunately, the hotel's own restaurant has been closed due to the corona since this year However, they offer a few smaller, light dishes in the evening, I think it's great !!! 👍👍👍

Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms, we had one with a terrace, unfortunately we couldn't use it because of the weather. Relatively central. Breakfast buffet very plentiful. Just beautiful. Parking available, sometimes a bit narrow, but you just have to let the hotel manager know, he'll take care of it. In the evening you can have a nightcap at the bar. By and large, simply beautiful here. We will...

Functionally furnished rooms. Very clean. Very nice staff. Very good breakfast. Special requests were also met. Great location to the beach. Simply recommend.

Fun and vibrant property with nice facilities in front of the baltic sea

I have visited feels several times, and every time, also now, it takes me out of the “normal” and into feels atmosphere, which is nice, unique, warm, soulful, alive. The service is in top, and oh my the kitchen and cocktails are top of the top. I give feels 5 out of 5 stars for being unique and menschlich (human)

The most amazing hotel experience of my life. To best describe this place in my words: It's like a well thought trough mix of the best from Ibiza high end beach club/bar/restaurants combined with a really nice and comfortable hotel to match. Rooms are bigger then average, modern, comfortable and tidy on a 5* level by my standards. Staff is English speaking, friendy and serviceminded. Over all experience...

A very nice hotel, in a prime location right on the beach, everything was very clean and well-maintained. The ladies serving breakfast were simply wonderful. Such friendly and attentive service is rare. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. The reception staff were also very attentive and helpful. We would love to come back; our stay was fantastic.

We paid €380 for 2 nights in 2 bedroom Apartment with beach-facing balcony. This included the local beach tax and parking. Did not utilise breakfast but due to kitchen facilities were able to self cater. Very patient and friendly staff. Pool area is across the rear carpark road in walking distance. Ocean is across the very busy road and footpath with a little train and thousands of cyclists. Very...

Very nice location. Very good kitchen. Staff always friendly and courteous. We would be happy to recommend this hotel to others.

That was a wonderful vacation in the hotel. Great service with very friendly staff and always a smile on their face. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Our children felt very comfortable and enjoyed the swimming pool. You can relax in the sauna. The small details like the filtered water and the wonderful candle gift show the attention to detail. The location of the hotel is fantastic and the breakfast...

We have been coming back here for many years. Excellent location right on the beach, large clean rooms and bathrooms. Super nice and helpful staff. Very well-kept swimming pool. Thank you very much for the great service! We can only recommend this house.

Everything was perfect here: a fantastic location right on the beach, not far from the center. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable in our apartment. A big thank you to the owner for the wonderful concept, especially the delicious breakfast! We will definitely book here again.

Communication with the aparthotel was seamless. They responded immediately to emails. Check-in was easy in the evening thanks to the key box. Parking is available, although I'm not sure if there would be enough spaces during peak season, as we had trouble finding one at the beginning of May. Nevertheless, we were pleasantly surprised by our room. We had expected something less luxurious. Everything...

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. I especially appreciated the ample parking, which made arrival very convenient. A late check-in was also no problem. The apartment was equipped with everything one could need – it was very practical and comfortable. The room was always clean and well-maintained, which gave me a great sense of peace and well-being. The small breakfast was perfectly adequate...

Beautiful accommodation in an incredibly beautiful location right by the sea. We had a wonderful view from our room, and it was very centrally located between Kühlungsborn East and West. Everything was very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were super friendly, courteous, and helpful. The small breakfast as an additional service was a nice touch. We would love to come back again. :)

Stayed as a stopover on a biketrip. Even though hotel is probably more famous for couples/families, we were still treated very nicely by receptionist and got all kinds of useful tips. Room was very nice, great balcony, view, kitchen.

Breakfast was kinda poor but the Room was Great and as Close to the beach as possible
