I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, even though the furniture is quite dated. And having to peel and slice my own green cucumber at the breakfast buffet was rather amusing. Friendly staff, very good service, breakfast was okay.

Great hotel with the most friendly staff!

Great location, but it’s hard to get good employees. They didn’t let me get in before 3pm and they fail to Book halbe Pension (breakfast and dinner) for the day after, so I was thrown out of the restaurant when I wanted to have dinner. Terrible experience. If the CEO would only know how bad the service is!…

2 nights for Lübeck Xmas market, very good overall. The personal was absolute top class in service and friendliness. Too low capacity in elevators makes it troublesome during high demand

The photos of the hotel and rooms on the hotel web site are very good. The service was not attentive, the were occupied with themselves more then with the guests. Breakfast mediocre. Rooms quite used up, small and not well furnished or thought through... Eg. The doors to the restrooms are just a glass door, the does not dampens anything... If you are OK with it... The service rather unfriendly..

We had a wonderful time at SAND in Timmendorfer Strand. It is a stylish and cozy hotel very close to the beach. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the food and drinks super delicious and the rooms nice and clean. We will definitely return to this place!

The property is just a short 5-10 min walk from the main tourist areas which offers such a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by lots green and open space. The front entrance is dedicated to a well designed and comfortable area for relaxing with a nice cocktail,cool breezes, and attentive service.

The hotel is showing its age; the rooms are very spacious, but cleanliness isn't great. The mirrors in the room and bathroom are mediocre, and the shower is very limescaled. As for the amenities, everything is excellent. The swimming pool is a good size, but the sauna is very small for the size of the hotel. Cleanliness in the sauna could be improved. Breakfast is quite alright.

Had a really nice stay here and perfect for families with great facilities. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Only drama are the lifts and check out is a mess. But we will learn for next time.

Overall great hotel for a fun getaway The hotel was incredible amenities and staff are very nice, rooms are spacious, breakfast has great variety. Temperature control in room is lacking, only heating available, would be too warm in summer and no screens on windows to leave them open in the evening.

Receptionist made me wait for a very long time before I could check-in. His female colleague did her best to run both the bar, buffett and check-in counter. He wasn't very helpful as well, nor was he able to put the right contact details on the invoice (all of which was taken care of by his colleague on the next morning). This hotel is not exclusiv at all, not worth the money just because its near the beach and ocean. And one lady that welcomes guest to the breakfast was starring as if she had never seen other people than Germans visit this place. Very weird! I would not recomend

Combine relaxation with City Sightseeing Great hotel with a great location. Near the ocean and only 25 min. away from Lübeck Altstadt. The perfect combination of a city holiday with relaxation. Dejlig hotel med venlig personale Dejligt hotel med virkelig venligt og serviceminded personale. Især i receptionen blev vi meget fint modtaget. Altid et smil og en hilsen. This gem is a really calm and perfect place to stay in. So CLEAN and great a SPA. The restaurant serves delicious food and with great personal service. Beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are very light. Kira Malden Hemen even sorted out a mistake done by me through ***********. I advise to book directly with the hotel. I am definitely coming back.

Wonderful hotel - we loved our stay! We had half board and enjoyed delicious breakfast and dinner. Food quality was outstanding with meat / fish / vegetarian options available for dinner. Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is wellness area with swimming pool and sauna. Hotel is well connected by bus to train station and city center.

Very nice location, in the restaurant upstairs there is a TV on which sports can be streamed if desired and there is a large selection of drinks. But the selection of food is not huge but it is very tasty. The service and staff are very friendly and willing to chat.

We booked spontaneously and had great days in the historic hotel. We got an upgrade and had a great room with a sea view. The service was super nice and we felt very comfortable. The location is perfect with proximity to the beach and downtown. We'd love to come back.

It's been a while, but it's still worth a good review. We've been there twice for several days, always in the family suite, and were always thrilled. Nice staff, great service, nice location, very close to the beach only a short walk about 100m maximum. The city center is also nearby and also the Baltic Sea thermal baths. Our daughter liked the loft bed best. Highly recommended, gladly again.
