Not great value for money, things like the roof top were messy and not particularly cozy! The breakfast buffet was mediocre but open for a very long time which was nice

The photos of the hotel and rooms on the hotel web site are very good.
The service was not attentive, the were occupied with themselves more then with the guests. Breakfast mediocre.
Rooms quite used up, small and not well furnished or thought through... Eg. The doors to the restrooms are just a glass door, the does not dampens anything... If you are OK with it... The service rather unfriendly..

We had a wonderful time at SAND in Timmendorfer Strand. It is a stylish and cozy hotel very close to the beach. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the food and drinks super delicious and the rooms nice and clean. We will definitely return to this place!

The property is just a short 5-10 min walk from the main tourist areas which offers such a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by lots green and open space. The front entrance is dedicated to a well designed and comfortable area for relaxing with a nice cocktail,cool breezes, and attentive service.

very small room. I had a job to get into the room with my suitcase. Service (apart from reception on arrival) is very nice and friendly. Lovely design and decor.

The hotel is very nice. It is situated close to the beach (less than 5 min walk) and also close to the center with shops, bars and restaurants. We really liked the location.
The room interior looked just like the images. Everything was clean. Their shampoo and similar products were also pretty good and natural.
Staff was helpful and friendly, and spoke english.
I also liked the breakfast, we were offered coffee and juice as well as eggs which were cooked according to wish and there was an open bar for bread, cheese, hams, fruit etc.
