Hotel Stolteraa in Warnemunde

This hotel could be so much better if they paid attention to some small things and the staff (especially reception) even pretended to be pleasant.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is it's location-at the end of the strand. It is quiet and has less bustle than the busy, "center" other end of the beach walk. From here you can access far less crowded beaches and walks in just minutes.
The hotel has about eight or nine beach-facing rooms of which only the upper floors can actually see over the dunes. Sadly, some of the hotel staff seems to think that is enough for the price of a stay and you feel it. The cheap bathrooms and fixtures don't help much more does the spotty WiFi either.
We've stayed here a couple of times so it's not a single occurrence. The non-reception staff were lovely: polite, professional, efficient. Somehow, reception staff didn't get the memo that customers are paying for money for a pleasant experience.
In any case, if you can live with the minimal disruption of grumpy reception at check-in and checkout and plastic baths, this hotel's location has a lot to offer.

The double rooms are 1 floor below and you will not get any sea view and the Wi-Fi in the room was pathetic as the reception was too bad in the bed room and you have to be at the door to get the WiFi. The breakfast can be said OK and didn’t have much on its menu. Overall the price was too high when compared for the facility and food they provide.

Absolutely wonderful! Perfect place for those who loves quiet and peaceful rest at seaside. We are dreaming to come back there soon.
