Where to stay in Warnemunde

I would really like to give aja 5 stars because it is an amazingly relaxing facility that is a great respite. However, I recently went and had booked the wrong tickets because their online system wasn't working (which all of the employees knew about and were kind and nice about, but they couldn't do anything to fix). So instead we bought additional tickets in person, no problem, and the person working...

The Spa is fabulous, the food delicious with a nice variety. Parking was on the expensive side.

It is a great place for families. Lovely staff, decent food for families, wonderful pool & spa. The location and the view from the spa are fantastic. Rooms are a small and have been pretty cold. They didn’t heat it up and it took us two days to get it warm. Also the bathroom is more or less open which lacks privacy.

Great place for two exhausted parents and an energetic 2 year old. Facilities are modern, clean and suitable for all. Staff were lovely and the location by the sea was beautiful. Kids pool and saunas for parents were the highest quality. We will return

We really enjoyed our stay, great location, fantastic pool and spa area, practical rooms and delicious breakfast

Staff was very helpful and courteous.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Godewind Hotel, and I simply must extend a heartfelt thank you to the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, everyone ensured that I felt completely at home with their warm demeanour and genuine care. Every team member truly went the extra mile. The experience was further enhanced by the food that was not only delicious but crafted to perfection...

Beautiful hotel in a quiet wooded space. Grocery and restaurants nearby. The hotel restaurant was superb!

The size and furnishings of our comfort room left nothing to be desired. Breakfast is always a highlight and in the evenings there is something for everyone on the small but fine menu. We missed the beef and burgers, though. The staff, both long-serving and new, were equally friendly and personable.

Very friendly service; nice room and absolutely quiet location

Rented a family apartment which for a couple was a great space to return to after a long relaxing day at the beach or traveling around rostock. Very quiet

Overall a nice hotel. They allow dogs, which is great, but only in the eco rooms downstairs. They also have an electric car charger and vegan items on the menu. The swimming pool is nice and the rooms clean. You can easily walk to the beach. Only downside: the vegan food tasted blend. When we talked to thr waiter about it, he just laughed and pointed at the salt on the table. At breakfast we got some...

Excellent and quiet location in front of the beach, and close to the main landmarks. Modern and clean, very sweet ladies at the front desk.

Not so special Except for the check in, the staff is not friendly. The paid garage for parking is too far, especially inconvenient in bad weather.

Beautiful location right by the sea. The rooms is cosy, with fantastic sea view from the window. The staff is nice and friendly.

Excellent hotel at a great place. The rooms are big enough and the breakfast just fantastic.

Ein schönes, gepflegtes und sauberes Hotel. Das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich.

Location, comfort and breakfast were great. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The only thing tvat night be of concern for some is that the elevator hasn't been working.

Not quite as you can hear talking late at night

Wellness Area in the 4. floor with view over the Baltic sea. short distances to center , beach , and shopping area.. I was given a room at the back of the building, at the end of the hallway, where there were Wi-Fi problems. They were able to help me with the Wi-Fi issue. No water dispenser in the wellness area.

It's a bit of an old hotel. There's no air conditioning and the bathroom ventilation is broken. However, it's located right in front of the beach and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast buffet doesn't have many menus... but the staff are very friendly!!!

beautiful location, especially the view from the spa terrace. comfortable rooms. helpful, friendly staff.

Das besonders freundliche Personal, die angenehme Atmosphäre, größere Zimmer, netter Spa Bereich und die sehr gute Lage (direkt am Strand).

Wonderful stay. Seriously can’t wait to go back next summer. We checked in with two dogs and they had food and water bowls waiting for us along with little treat baggies! It was so nice to stay somewhere so dog friendly. The rooms are very nice and cared for, the beds are SO COMFORTABLE. I slept so well. The restaurant is nice and has a good selection of wine and is a nice place to relax after a day...

Rooms are clean and decorated in a maritime style. Bed at 1.40 m is very narrow for two adults. The lady at reception seemed painfully friendly, rooms were only ready shortly before 4 p.m. instead of 3 p.m., and there wasn't even an excuse for that. Breakfast was actually all there, but the rolls were either white and not fully baked or baked from the day before and extremely hard. Scrambled eggs are...

The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly. However, it was unfortunately impossible to go to the wellness area because the reception was almost never staffed. In addition, it is actually a no-go that you should pay extra for the sauna even though you were a guest in the hotel. We were assured by phone that the reception would be staffed until 6 p.m. (which was already scheduled for a visit...

Beautiful hotel, classic building with modern furnishings, perfect location right on the beach promenade on the Baltic Sea. Short walk to the lighthouse and old stream. The rooms are relatively small but perfectly equipped. Nothing is missing. The breakfast was good and sufficient. Service and reception - very friendly and helpful. Parking is possible in the public parking garage opposite the hotel...

We had a super great suite with 2 balconies (a roof terrace and a balcony) and had a great view of the Baltic Sea. The suite was very clean. It is a non-smoking hotel and smoking is allowed at the hotel entrance. We expected a little more from the breakfast. All around a great reception at the reception and for the evening the restaurant Sandbank is highly recommended.

We were in this hotel for the second time. We had a beautiful, large room with a sea view. The breakfast was excellent again. At the reception we were received very nicely. PRICE-PERFORMANCE is definitely right here and we will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The location is great and you have a great sea view. What bothered us was the lack of room service. In the summer with a lot of sand in the room, this is very unpleasant. The cot was getting a bit old. Breakfast was sufficient and delicious.

Awesome hosts, friendly, supportive and tasty food. Thank's a lot and See you again! Great hotel. And, for the daytrip. Eat more pulled pork! It's fantastic! Great stuff, fair prices at the snack bar.

We had a wonderful time at the Ostseeland Hotel! Our apartment was brand-new and quite modern, which we enjoyed. The location was great for us - a few minutes from the sea and in the middle of a great hiking path leading to the next villages, left and right. Breakfast was good as well. We would definitely consider the Ostseeland Hotel for our next stay by the Baltic Sea!

Beautiful place, close to the beach. Comfy room with terrace, delicious menue, very friendly service and the sauna area is very clean. I´ll come back.

Hotel staff was nice and friendly, and the room was absolutely spotless! Beds are comfy and breakfasts are delicious and fresh. Good place for a proper (no noise or parties) vacation! The whole place is like made for hikes and walks, so make sure to take some comfy shoes with you and discover this beautiful area :)

Very friendly staff and nice room. Good food and service over all. Location is perfect by the sea and very quiet.

a lovely place, clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast buffets, friendly staff everywhere, super location as a base for a bicycle holiday. our new favorite hotel in Warnemunde, we shall return next time for sure.

Great Base for the town, the cruise terminal and train station, great choice for breakfast, restaurant on site and many other restaurants and street food options.

Beautiful experience, cozy and warm place, friendly atmosphere, and great location.

Our stay at the ALTE STROM HOTEL was one of the best during our short tour through Germany. The room had a great view and the staff was friendly and very helpful. We will be back and looking forward to it.

the location is superb. Just in the middle of the happenings, but no cars noise around. and there is a bar that opens till late in the might, very cosy if you just want to have a drink or two before bed, and the young bartender will tend your requirement, or offer an alternative if he doesn’t have your fave drinks.

Great hotel right across from the train station. The room was large, spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh with plenty of variety. The staff was always very friendly. We will be back.

If you like a central place, close to everything, clean rooms, friendly staff, a nice variety for breakfast - use this hotel. Yes, it's quite a good choice for a trip to the coast line. Once you checked in, everything in Warnemünde is in walking distance, and Rostock can be reach by public traffic - the train is just 200meters away from the hotel. Indulge yourself for a view days!

Top Hotel, top Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This hotel could be so much better if they paid attention to some small things and the staff (especially reception) even pretended to be pleasant. The biggest advantage of this hotel is it's location-at the end of the strand. It is quiet and has less bustle than the busy, "center" other end of the beach walk. From here you can access far less crowded beaches and walks in just minutes. The hotel has...

Lovely atmosphere and nice beds. Breakfast was really good. Many thanks for helpfull staff😍

Historic Hotel in a fantastic location This hotel has an interesting interior design. It sometimes feels like you just entered an art museum. The two best things about it are the location, only meters away from the beach with a designated bus stop, and the fantastic very german breakfast. Two things they can be working on is optimizing the set up of the furniture inside the room and the wifi reception...

The double rooms are 1 floor below and you will not get any sea view and the Wi-Fi in the room was pathetic as the reception was too bad in the bed room and you have to be at the door to get the WiFi. The breakfast can be said OK and didn’t have much on its menu. Overall the price was too high when compared for the facility and food they provide.

Absolutely wonderful! Perfect place for those who loves quiet and peaceful rest at seaside. We are dreaming to come back there soon.

Beautifully and tastefully furnished. Perfect location for cycling, bus stop right outside, and secure parking in the backyard 👍👍👍

We had a lovely, clean room with everything we needed. The breakfast was very varied and delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much! 😊 We were able to store our bicycles in a small bike shed. With the visitor's card, you can ride the bus for free, making it super easy to get to the Hohe Düne ferry. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away, and there's a beach bar there...

My stay was sooo perfect! Very clean hotel. When I came in to my room, it smelled so nice! Housekeeping cleans everyday. Hotel team is perfect and so nice! I loved the breakfast! Just be careful - reception is working till 21:00 (9pm). If I could give 10 stars, I would! Thank you for perfect stay.❤️

Die Lage war perfekt, in wenigen Minuten war man am Strand. Das Personal war stets hilfsbereit und freundlich.

The room could do with 2 square meters more. That's why only 4 out of 5. Everything else was really cool. Breakfast, cleanliness, service, reception, no wish was left unfulfilled. That's what matters. What was annoying, the bike day guests, impossible some. Like zombies, only tapping, only seeing themselves. Really annoying that Susewind accepts such bookings. You don't need that. Your guests from...

Nice little hotel. Top service, friendly, helpful and courteous. Good transport links in all directions. Breakfast is very good, something for everyone. 100% positive rating. The mattresses should be improved. We stayed here for 3 nights and felt very comfortable. Afterwards we were in the best holiday mood and went on the Aidamar towards Denmark-Norway-Sweden. We recommend.

This was our first time here, and if the opportunity arises, we'll definitely come back. The location and view are fantastic. We were lucky enough to get a parking space at the hotel; it should be obvious that an older hotel in the city center won't have parking for everyone. The room was nice and cozy, and the bathroom was tidy, although perhaps a few minor areas could use some attention. The minibar...

We traveled with three people and stayed in apartment 25. The two bedrooms were spacious, clean, and tidy, as was the bathroom. A large terrace with a table and chairs, overlooking the Baltic Sea, was also included. A bottle of water was provided as a welcome gift, and the towels were beautifully arranged on the beds. There was plenty of storage space, seating, and a table. Breakfast left nothing...

the employees were really welcoming and available. the see view is incredible from the last floor. the sauna is spacious and clean

Getting old, but the staff was very friendly, communicative, helpful. Breakfast buffet completely adequate. The restaurant is very tasty, if you don't like the hustle and bustle of the river and want to enjoy the best food in a quiet atmosphere, this is the place for you. It takes a while, but when you see the fresh vegetables on the plate, you're happy to wait.

So nice and accommodating. Really top notch! The food was delicious - I had cod fillet - without the smallest bone! Highly recommended!

Very nice. The service, the staff really great. The rooms are clean. For breakfast, something for everyone. I would like to come back.

Great location and smart and comfy room. Frendly and helpful staff. Public parking near by. Great sty.

Good value for money, not far from MSC cruise terminal

My wife and I checked into the hotel on September 23, 2018. We were scheduled to stay one night because we were scheduled to board the Norwegian Breakaway cruise ship on September 24 ,2018 at the Warnemunde port. We walked to the cruise terminal and were informed the ship was leaving Copenhagen on September 24, 2018 at 2 pm and not stopping at Warnemunde due to bad weather. The receptionist at the hotel...

Place is nice. Room is clean. Restaurant also nice and clean. Great food.. Great service. Only if they could hv TV with english channel and AC or a fan for summer especially I would rate 5. But overall, the staff were friendly and helpful. Location is very good. By the river. 5 mins walk from the main station. 10mins walk from the cruise port.

Very comfortable hotel, spa was well furnished and quiet. Was a little dismayed to have a staff member open the door to the sauna and give a 5 minute lecture on the need to sit on towels while using it, towels were all brown from the benches afterwards. Excellent breakfast and outstanding shower. Rooms were a little hot and some air con would have been nice. Staff were very friendly and efficient...

I strongly recommend this place. we stopped in for a night on the beach. It's one block, or about 30m, from the dunes. The hotel is modern, spotlessly clean, well appointed, and the service is extraordinary - among the most friendly and thoughtful service I've ever experienced at a German hotel. The room was spacious, had a very nice balcony, comfortable beds and a very well appointed bathroom (though...

Hubner Park is less than a block from the beach front. It is the sister hotel to Hubner Strand which is directly beachfront. Services and amenities are about the same in the two hotels, except the Park doesn't have water views and is a little more budget friendly. Our room was large, airy with good king bed, excellent shower and toilet room. Buffet breakfast was very good. Spa with steam room and sauna...

Fantastic location, great breakfast, super friendly employees, great restaurant

Had an excellent weekend stay here. Room was super,we even had a sea view. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be back again.

Nice staff, nice building! Dry close to the beach!

Very close to the "heart" of Warnemunde, but on a quiet side street with lots of typical houses.

Previous burger shop was better. Price-performance ratio is not right. Pea soup 4 stars The rest is a snack if you like it ok.

The room is okay but unfortunately there is no breakfast included. However, there are a few bakeries nearby where you can have breakfast quite cheaply. We can recommend the baker at the bridge "Am alten Strom" is the name of the purple baker. There you can sit outside quite nicely and look at the Alter Strom.

Overpriced. Rooms are nice, but the inbuilt kitchen lacks of even salt and pepper. No cleaning service. Unfriendly staff in the breakfast room. Quite a walk to the beach in zig zag, so swimming in the sea is not so easy in autumn (20 min walk) . 1600 eu for 3 days for 4 people is def overpriced . The attached shop is tacky , it had been more of a farm shop but now it s alcohol and sweets, the few veggies...

Great Underbart! Andra gången vi har varit där nu och vi längtar redan tillbaka

Swedish family Very nice hotel in a lovely area

The hotel that offers a nice and not too far away access to the Beach - Warnemünde. At the same time if a severe weather shows up, there is a warm pool available at the hotel. The breakfast was pretty nice. Sadly the Sauna as it is common in the german culture is taken naked, but hopefully that will change for the best for the future and then more people will be able to enjoy it. The small market...

Very clean and well-maintained room. The hotel is calm and discreet, perfect for a relaxing stay. The welcome was attentive and professional, and we truly appreciated the small handwritten note in the room, a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more personal. Thank you to the entire team for a great stay.

Lovely hotel right next to the beach, veey helpful staff, excellent beds and a decent breakfast. Would be happy to stay qgain

Absolutely great place. Everything seemed super new and untouched. The Interior looks very fresh and beautiful. Breakfast is not the best I've ever had, but it`s a matter of taste. I was craving a wurst the whole trip :) Great sauna with a beautiful interior. The location is perfect. You are next to the beach, but still in the middle of everything.

The hotel has very friendly staff. It is also in a good location in Warnemünde. The rooms are practically furnished. Above all, clean and tidy. I always feel very comfortable here. Almost like a second home. The breakfast is always very satisfactory. I am happy to be a guest here, even if it didn't work out again this year because of the strike at the railways.

Nice and clean. Close to the beach. Friendly staff

Very nice and cosy. Good price value.

It was amazing! I did ask bellhop to deliver my luggage After dinner I stopped registration and my luggage was still there. I took my luggage back to my room.

Very nice! Excellent value. Beautiful well maintained property

we liked everything. most elegant, beautiful hotel in the world!!!!

Great place to stay for those cruising out of Warnemunde. Nice family atmosphere, with very helpful and courteous staff. Also - best breakfast buffet I have ever seen, hands down. 🙂

Beautiful grounds, helpful staff!

Fantastic hotel with excellent staff and comfortable rooms.
