We went there for dinner.

Because of the ski jumping, the menu was limited, but there was a good selection. With the amuse-bouche, a swede tart, and fresh bread with lard, etc., I could have stayed all evening. It was incredibly delicious. Where else can you get such crusty bread in the evening? Amazing.

The side salad was fresh with a delicious vinaigrette, not the standard stuff you often get. The main courses ranged from venison with homemade spaetzle to classic dishes. A fantastic meal with great ingredients.

Many thanks to the kitchen team. The service was also attentive and very friendly. I'm annoyed I didn't go there sooner. We will definitely be back.

Although we didn't receive a particularly warm welcome and the owner's sense of humor isn't for everyone, the rooms were great and clean, the location was superb, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was perfect. We wanted for nothing. Our dog was also welcome, which we especially appreciated. There wasn't even an extra charge for him, which is rare. The price-performance ratio is excellent. We would gladly return and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms are in a Gelsenkirchen Baroque style – but the price is right.

The food is minimalist. Not exactly a culinary highlight. The price-performance ratio isn't right in this case.

Perhaps the kitchen was just having an off day.

The service deserves special mention.
Everyone was exceptionally friendly.

The hotel room is comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is good with lots of varieties like fruits, cereals, cheese, cold cuts. The food at the restaurant is good and they have smaller portions too . It was a good stay .

We stayed here for a family ski break. The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped with everything you needed. Including a hair dryer. The Buffett continental breakfast had something for everyone. The location was ideal for us albeit a 20 min walk up through the town to the slopes. But excellent for doing a pub crawl on the way back!! Lots of lovely places to eat. Definitely a place to return to and explore more of its attractions and activities on offer. Well worth a visit if you’re a skier or not.

Well, actually a very nice hotel,...but it left a lot to be desired in terms of friendliness. I don't know if it's a family business, but the people who "hosted" us were very unfriendly. Even a "good morning" was not answered at all, or only reluctantly. Customer-friendly can be better. Please work on it!

We just had a very nice dinner at the Sauerländer Hof. The service was excellent, our meals, Schnitzel, Steak and venison schnitzel (with cranberry sauce and rösti) were very good and we can recommend it.

Biker friendly hotel. Neat rooms and friendly service. Also not unimportant..... a decent jet of water from the shower :-)

As always, I ate very well.
Above all, great importance is attached to the composition of the dishes.
As a beer drinker, I get my money's worth here. After you have arrived, you always come here.
