although it is a big hotel, you feel very welcome, and it is a very nice location close to ski piste, and the hotel has nice accomodation like swimming pool, spa and kids room. Food is perfect!!

Arrived without a booking and was able to get a family room. First room they gave us was not made up. Second room they gave us was dirty gooey stuff on wardrobe, splashes up the walls and around the light switch .No coffee or tea. Housekeeping came and said, they had lots of parties. He said he would report it. Cleaned the marks stocked the coffee and left. For the price of the hotel, this is not...

Just 10 minutes outside of a ski area (Neuastenberg) - family friendly, super service and fabulous staff! Pool and sauna were lovely as was the breakfast buffet.

Dated hotel. Excellent breakfast, subpar dinner buffet. Large, cool pool with limited space around it. Beautiful wellness center. Time seems to have stood still here. Reasonably friendly staff. Excellent room for disabled guests, other rooms in need of renovation.

Food is simply awesome. We are the vegetarian guest and chef took extra care for us to cook specially for us. Buffet here was good and the Menu was awesome. staff is extremely friendly in the Restaurant especially with kids. Very proffessional and elegant. After Radisson, this is our next best hotel.

The hotel is very beautiful and clean the serves is very nice they clean your room everyday. There also is a pool, sauna and a gym. So you don’t have to get bored.

The hotel is well positioned in the city center and close to the ski resort. Wellness area is good. To be improved the quality of the breakfast I would anyhow suggest the hotel to other friends. Parking available at the place.

Overall the hotel is good, with good facilitées. The issue is with the staff with an employee being rude, unpolite, showing agressivity and not respecting privacy. I felt in danger ! I had to raise the case to my lawyer.

We stayed for three nights! We had a great room, we enjoyed the breakfast and the location of the hotel was perfect. We also had dinner one night. The portions are big, but in my opinion the food here was not really special. Price/quality was fine. However the staff was really nice and helpful! We will definitely be back!

Very good food. Reception was very nice. Friendly staff. 1 point deduction because we had to get out of the sauna on the third evening at 8.40 p.m. because the lady wanted to call it a day. Even the boss comes by personally and asks about your well-being. All in all a good hotel. thanks

Rooms were a bit older but clean! Staff was very nice! The food portions were a bit small after hiking. I was rebooked here from the Waldhaus am See, which was a big detour on the hike on the Rothaarsteig. Who does not hike a recommendation!

Sehr nette Besitzer und zuvorkommende Angestellte. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Beim Frühstück ist alles da, was man braucht. Wir konnten auch später anreisen, als wie üblich, und es wurde uns auch noch spontan ein Tisch im Restaurant reserviert. Pool und Sauna waren ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir werden definitiv wieder buchen.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend with a group of friends and our dogs. Upon arrival, there was a water and food bowl, including wet food and treats, waiting for the dogs. There was also a dog mat, which was great! The room itself is large, including a small kitchenette and a refrigerator, which is very nice! The bathroom is good with a nice shower. The price/performance ratio is unbeatable here; the rooms are a bit dated but clean, and there's ample parking. Located in the Usseln district, about 4 km from Willingen. There's a swimming pool and sauna, and the sauna area is particularly spacious. A lovely breakfast is served in a room with mountain views. Numerous footpaths and cycle paths lead to the Skywalk, Willingen, and other destinations...

The hotel is quite good. I didn't like the service; the staff at breakfast was completely unfriendly. There is no first aid kit in the hotel. The breakfast is not bad.

The fridge in our room was incredibly loud and barely cooked down.

Great location (by car), walking distance to low key slopes. Service can be improved, everything is quite confusing and unclear, dinner was sold out by 5pm. Breakfast is ok, beds are too hard but overall the family room is roomy and comfortable.

A lovely hotel, with wonderful breakfast and excellent pool and spa, right in the middle of town. It suffers a little from old fashioned decor but you can just choose to see that as charming.

Alot of old people stayed in the hotel, which bothered us a bit. The bar was very small. The breakfast was good, average. We spent a long time choosing a hotel in Willingen, but this one disappointed us a little.

We selected the hotel because of location and our pleasant stay 2 years ago. The hotel has spacious parking. Our room had a spacious terrace with furniture, nice seating area and well equipped, practical bathroom. Breakfast is absolutely excellent and staff is efficient and friendly. We will be back.

A very pleasant hotel with a large room and very relaxed owners. The furnishings are perfectly adequate. It's clear that the hotel is constantly being improved. I'm saddened that hotel chains in Willingen are jeopardizing the survival of family-run hotels in the surrounding area. The sauna and swimming pool weren't brand new, but in my opinion, still perfectly sufficient.

A bit hidden next to a hotel. No reception staff, the key was in a safe deposit box, code sent via text message. Clean but noisy room. Only saw a female employee at the otherwise good breakfast.

We were in Willingen, quite spontaneously, for a short trip of just one night and only booked the hotel room the day before our arrival. The code for contactless check-in arrived via email in good time before 3 p.m. The location was great, very central and still quiet. A location worthy of Germany with nice staff and a restaurant ready for instagram photos. The town is like as to welcome tourists. If you stay at this hotel, don't worry about parking because the hotel has numerous spots including parking for charging electric cars.

For a room over €200 per night and rated 4 star, we expected the bathroom to have at least more than just a 3in1 shower gel. Wi-Fi did not work too until issue was brought up to reception, which only an additional set up instruction was given. Pillow was typical cheap with no support kinda German pillow. Unfortunately, we were allocated a room with adjoining balcony whereby cigarette smoke entered...

We went there for dinner. Because of the ski jumping, the menu was limited, but there was a good selection. With the amuse-bouche, a swede tart, and fresh bread with lard, etc., I could have stayed all evening. It was incredibly delicious. Where else can you get such crusty bread in the evening? Amazing. The side salad was fresh with a delicious vinaigrette, not the standard stuff you often get....

The rooms are in a Gelsenkirchen Baroque style – but the price is right. The food is minimalist. Not exactly a culinary highlight. The price-performance ratio isn't right in this case. The Buffett continental breakfast had something for everyone. The location was ideal for us albeit a 20 min walk up through the town to the slopes. Well, actually a very nice hotel,...but it left a lot to be desired in terms of friendliness. I don't know if it's a family business, but the people who "hosted" us were very unfriendly. Even a "good morning" was not answered at all, or only reluctantly. Customer-friendly can be better. Please work on it!
