4 star hotels in Bad Harzburg

I liked the hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room, the gym and the spa-area were beautiful. Unfortunately my room was not totally clean. I found a few long black hair on the bed. I have very short blond hair, so they were not mine. I stayed in a room called "Harz Nester". The bed was very hard. For me that's okay, but I know many people who would have had a bad night in this bed. When I wanted...

Great facilities, swimming pool and several saunas. Great food quality. Very polite staff. Comfortable beds. Rooms towards the road can be noisy but excellent three pane windows cut all road noise away. Very good value for money.

My wife and I stayed here in January while visiting our daughter. The hotel had been renovated which was still a work in progress and there was a barrier in front of the hotel that made it difficult to find the entrance. The check in was long and ridiculous with a tablet that you have to do yourself with the staff just standing there and watching you. I guess no one wants to talk with people anymore...

Basic room, good spa features Not sure about the spa experience as I only stayed for one night The sauna was in good condition and spotless Gym is very basic but functional Checkin was really quick Parking on the location is limited

The entire hotel has a very nice atmosphere, great design, the lobby is very comfortable and inviting. They offer several different saunas including infrared, there's an amazing comfortable spa lounge area, a well equipped gym, a very nice pool, resting rooms, a library room, and open space areas/terraces. They also offer massages and beauty treatments (I haven't tried anything though). The location...

Food - Dinner & Breakfast Very big Room Sauna & Swimming Pool

Nice & comfortable hotel. Excellent dinner and food service. Great with pups!

Great small hotel in a cute little town. Fantastic service from nice people. We had booked a suite and stayed in a fantastic room. We would definitely come back if we pass by again.

Excellent 5 night stay. Breakfast is extensive and dinner in the restaurant has very high quality menu/drinks choices with impeccable service from attentive staff. Thoroughly recommend their venison main dish!!

We stayed at the Braunschweigerhof in Bad Harzburg for a few days over New Year 2024-25. We were made most welcome. The rooms were modern , very comfortable and immaculately clean. There was a very nice traditional ambience in the public areas and restaurant. The staff were all charming and helpful, and the food was delicious. I would particularly compliment the restaurant staff. In the heart of Bad...

Love the hotel and love the town. There's so much to explore around! I will definitely return!

More than a good hotel! We had a 3-day package "Romantik" half board and included a candlelight dinner. And a welcome cocktail (with 4 courses). Pleasant service, cozy bar, good massages, excellent service. We were in the main building. Perfect base for the Burgberg, Goslar and Werningerode (with the steam train to the Brocken, 1142 m high).

We really enjoyed our Christmas stay at this well-run, attractively renovated hotel. The staff were friendly and our room was very comfortable. The breakfast and evening meal buffets were of good quality and the table service (drinks only) friendly and attentive. The pool and spa areas were lovely, and a wide range of festive activities were also offered by the hotel. The only small downside was the...

Die Lage des Hotels, die Nähe zu den Wanderwegen und das gute Frühstück. Ein sehr schöner SPA Bereich.

Really lovely spacious and well-equipped apartment, already decorated for Christmas, in a good location within the town centre.

Unique ski lodge feel, wonderfully large rooms with lots of extras.

The scenic area is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy ... Had the Glückskind room and can only recommend it .... 👌

A beautiful hotel. A great slogan or funny caricatures and objects on every corner. The rooms have been cleaned very well and the decor is very nice. The roof terrace is a dream and offers a wonderful view 😊🙏 Anytime again 🙌

Overall, I was happy. The bathroom was new with a large shower. What I was missing were towel rails at the head of the shower, you had to step out of it to dry off. What annoyed me, however, was that my breakfast table, which I had for two days, was suddenly reserved for another gentleman, and I was assigned a cat table with a pillar in front of me. This is a no-go .. and does not work at all ..

We were only here to eat. This was very good. The portions were also absolutely sufficient. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely come back more often on the next vacation, even if you run out of calories before and after.
