The temperature in the hotel was extremely high, both in the hallways and the rooms. Opening the window was only an option during the day, as the smell of cannabis from downstairs drifted in at night. Furthermore, the rooms facing the courtyard are poorly insulated, leading to a lot of noise disturbance from everything happening outside during the night. It seems the hotel was aware of these issues beforehand, as we were given a compensatory upgrade including a free minibar. Breakfast was good—luxurious, though not 'super deluxe'. The service, however, was fine.

Disappointing stay, unwelcoming staff, bad breakfast, multiple issues with the room including giving me a room with two beds when I specifically booked a room with a double bed. If I wanted to sleep in a single bed I would have booked it as the do have single rooms.

I stayed 2 nights at the hotel. Good location, mostly good conditions although there were no outlets to charge my phone. At the reception there were 2 uneducated and rude women who communicated in a thick voice, apparently they had hormonal problems.

Very friendly staff, this felt a really well managed hotel. Clean, tidy and organised. The breakfast was excellent, really good and better than many other Accor hotels. Quiet room, good value and I hope to return.

Dortmund Mercure is a typical business hotel with minimum frills. It’s more appropriate for solo travelers but the bed and room can be comfortable for couples. The breakfast is uninspiring but still worth it if you’re booking the room at a good price. Front staff are efficient and the location is close to the trains and the high street. The lobby is quite comfortable too. Take note that the entrance is a bit hard to find and you have to take a lift to check in.

In the city center, it is convenient for eating and shopping, but it is inconvenient for parking. They don't have their own parking lot. The room doesn't have a good view, but the room is very clean and the service staff are very warm and friendly.

Close to the main station about 7 minutes walk. Secure at night and sometimes offer late check outs when it’s not too busy for those with very late flights which is one of the main reasons why I keep going back. A bit out dated on the decor but it’s ok for the price.
