We had a wonderful stay here! Excellent location that is easy to access by foot and by car. The rooms were clean and modern, and the area felt very safe.
The breakfast was delicious and fresh with lots of healthy options.
I recommend parking in the karlsbau garage if there are not spots in their personal garage. It was only around €22 a day. Better yet, take the train so you don’t have to worry about parking. All of the hiking trailheads are within walking distance of the hotel as well.
I would come back any day! Wonderful stay!
*I did receive lots of WhatsApp spam messages but that is no fault of the hotel. The hotel sent me a message on booking.com letting me know that there are lots of scams going around. The hotel will NOT message you via WhatsApp and only via booking.com

I booked this hotel and received numerous spam WhatsApp messages referencing the hotel. This gave the impression of a data leak.
After mentioning it to the hotel there was no sign of apology in the response or letting me know that they will be looking into it. I decided to cancel my booking and choose another hotel.

We are extremely satisfied with our stay! The room is spacious and spotlessly clean (I’m a housekeeper myself, so I can tell when something is truly clean). The staff are polite and helpful, and the breakfast buffet offers a great variety of delicious options.

This hotel is located across the road from the main hotel where you’ll find reception, parking garage and breakfast room. The breakfast was really good with a wife choice of hot and cold foods. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The underground parking garage was great although it did cost extra. The rooms were modern, stylish and very comfortable. The only negative I can give is that the WiFi did not work at all during our stay which was very disappointing.

Location was good, comfortable and clean rooms . Personnel was very nice, they gave us recommendations to eat typical German food. You can find supermarkets, the center and restaurants in walking distance

In the month of August I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights (long weekend). The quality and cleaning standard of the hotel is very substandard. The price is not in proportion to what you get and is presented online (images).
The pillows to sleep on are very soft, they contain '0' filling. The hotel did not have extra pillows in stock, as these had all been loaned to others with the same experience. The room is not cleaned on arrival. There were long brown hairs on the bed and the toilet flush knob in the bathroom was also not clean. It had red stains on it from the previous stay. We only received new towels when cleaning, the floor has not been cleaned and no cloth has been put over anything. We reported this to the front desk, they responded indifferently.
I do not recommend this hotel.

Unlike the name implies, this is not a boutique hotel. It's a Holiday Inn style hotel without any charm.
There's no reception available (blaming Coronavirus).
The bed linnen is scratchy. The room entrance is in the staircase. There's no coffee machine. Minibar is empty.
All in all, the hotel is an empty shell without personality.

Great, modern, super located hotel! 👍 We were here for about 5 days and felt very comfortable. Due to the close location to the old town you are always in the action and can let yourself be carried away. Definitely go to the cathedral market on Saturday mornings and shop, stroll and eat. The hotel has an underground car park across the street in which the car is perfectly positioned. The course is ok.

Perhaps you could put a small coffee maker in your room. Because I like to have a coffee after getting up. Otherwise everything was great.
