Perfect location near the Black forest and in walking distance of Freiburg im Breisgau's main town. A lovely hotel. Parking was plentiful and secure. We ate in the hotel for dinner and it was good, although I had a strange sausage salad, I'll post a picture! The bathroom is functional, nothing special. The room's carpet could use a vacuum, but the bed is very comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent.

Good hotel not to far from the city.

Located on the edge of town, with easy parking and direct access to the main road, this hotel is ideal for self-driving. We chose this hotel because it's close to Colmar. The rooms are clean, and parking is convenient. The nearby gas station was the cheapest one Farid saw, at 1,599 euros per liter. Freiburg Cathedral is a short drive away, but we arrived too late to enter.

Unfortunately, I saw four dirty rooms, each with hair in the bathroom/on the beds. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special. The rooms were a bit run down. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Our stay was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and allowing us to check in early was a huge plus. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, situated near great restaurants and offering easy access to the city center and main train station. Highly recommend this hotel!

Both trip com and the Hilton website mentioned a balcony being included in the room we selected it wascthe main reason we chose tgis hotel over others. Unfortunately, on arrival, we were informed there are no balconies for any rooms in the hotel. The room itself was ok. No fridge in the accessible room. I'm uncertain why the difference? The location is walking distance to PT, the old town, restaurants...

Hotel is located ~8 min from tram station and has private parking lots available. Room was clean and the breakfast was good for its price. Overall we had a great stay at this hotel.

The hotel is about 12 minutes away on tram from the central station and closed to the tram station and supermarkets. Breakfast is in good variety and food are to its standards for a 3-star hotel. The room is clean with renovated bathroom.

Very conveniently located at the Freiburg train station and around shopping district. However the hotel room is so basic. It’s what u pay and what u get. Initially when checked in found room without fridge, that’s funny. Location 10/10 . So handy for taking trams or trains or just walking into the town. Stayed here 4 nights. Had a twin room with fridge. Small shower room but adequate and the shower was good. If only this hotel got rid of the horrible stained carpet in the room it would be perfect. We didn’t have breakfast - 21euros seemed a bit over the top when there are so many cafes nearby.

Hotel was quiet and just next to the train station. Very convenient to get food and within walking distance to the town area for sightseeing and hiking. Did not have breakfast @ the hotel. Receptionist was helpful with recommendations for food and hiking options.

This hotel have a good area not faraway from train, bus station and food shop. Good service and good staff. This hotel also have elevator and fridge.

Good place for a stopover when traveling, nicely situated in the city center, so good for food and drinks. Rooms are clean and have all you need for 1 night . Staf is friendly and nice. Parking might be an issue when the garage is full, we managed to park right in front of the hotel. Was slightly moer expensive but it was good. I would go there again next time!

Accommodation in Freiburg The hotel is close to the hill where we can reach easily for a pleasant walk. From the city centre is few blocks away and it is possible to go by walk. As it was extremely hot during my stay, a small fan (no air conditioning) did not help a lot!

The front desk smelled of a very strong parfum that just gave me a headache. Luckily it did not carry to the rest of the hotel. The hotel room itself was ok. Though the toilet paper was like sandpaper. They provided a kettle in the room but it needs cleaning. They had a bar and lounge, we had a gulasch soup and a pizza. The soup was good but a tiny portion. The front desk staff were very nice too...

Parking issues are probably similar throughout Germany; the system isn't very automated, and the staff were in a rush, speaking too quickly and making it difficult to understand. In the end, I just parked wherever I could find a spot. I told them I had already paid online, but they insisted I pay at the front desk. Luckily, Ctrip's service was excellent and resolved the issue promptly.

It's a clean and reliable brand, so I stay often. However, I was disappointed to see that the parking fee was expensive and that the car was leaving without paying the parking fee.

We had the perfect stay at this hotel while in Freiburg. We loved it so much that we even recommended it on our website. :) The staff is super friendly, the breakfast is good and they offered free drinks at the bar if you help save water by refusing the daily turn-down service if you don't really need it. We're tidy, so we enjoyed plenty of drinks. ;)

It’s my third time at stuub freiburg and once again an excellent experience! Very clean and well laid out rooms, efficient kitchen, friendly customer service. The hotel is dog friendly as well which is a big plus. It is close to the bus stop that takes you into the centre, and the supermarket is steps away.

I reached Freiburg as an international student and I was worried that I might not be very comfortable studying in a hotel .. But it was the total opposite!! It was truly a comfortable place (Strong WIFI) with a nice balcony and a cute kitchenette. The staff were SUPER FRIENDLY ! They were very accommodating ! If I had to add one small remark .. I would have wished for the hotel room to have a big mirror...

The property was on the edge of the old city which is nice. A bit awkward to get into the parking because there was no where to leave the car that didn’t block a road while you checked in. Getting from the garage outside to the check in was awkward as well. Hotel was clean updated and quite nice. No bar or restaurant on site but was close to all.

Hotel Minerva is a lovely small hotel tucked in a quiet street not far from the station. We stayed three nights and enjoyed a comfortable bedroom with a small bathroom and balcony. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Minerva. It’s a beautiful, small, and cozy hotel with a lot of charm. What I loved the most is that it’s not part of a chain, so it has its own unique personality. The breakfast was definitely the highlight – delicious and with great variety. The location is also excellent, close to both the city center and the main train station. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We've had stayed in this nice family-run hotel for three nights and woke up every morning with a wonderful smell of fresh pastry from the window. Unlike every other hotel we've stayed, this had a good breakfast, very clean rooms, friendly staff. We've requested an extra blanket (yes, in august...) and got it immediately. The Roten Bären hotel was perfectly situated in the old city of Freiburg! Decent breakfast buffet and friendly staff. Considered the oldest Inn in Germany. A little bit of a challenge to get to it since it’s in the pedestrian zone but managed.

Oldest hotel in Germany!! Almost 800 years old and still going! It has quirks, and is nothing like a Holiday Inn, but that's a GOOD thing. Very clean, very hospitable, very quaint, and exactly in the center of old-town, just footsteps from the ancient main city gate. I loved it, and hope to return someday. Be sure to visit the little ancient basement/cellar museum.

Stayed with a tent and our two bikes. Everything looks great and the toilet and shower facilities are modern and clean. Location close to the city and 5 min cycle to groceries. At 39 euros a night for two people, it is a little bit on the expensive side for a stay with a small tent.

Very clean site with the best facilities I've seen on a site! Pitches are tight for bigger vans but a nice easy 40 minute walk in to the beautiful town centre is a must do!

Little hotel, super friendly and chatty owner. Will definitely come again!

Good but the location was a little hidden

Very nice if you want a flat for your self instead of a regular room in a hotel. Parking in the backyard. They only take cash as payment, no creditcards.
