The staff were amazing, the breakfast was good with lots of choices. The room was somewhat updated but the carpet needed to be replaced. The building itself needed updating but has a good layout.

Was a fantastic room shower etc with balcony, however we were woken at around 7 by workers opposite our room this is unacceptable we're on holiday and had a long days ride we needed our rest plus no food at all we had to order a takeaway and we had only 1 pillow each which thin and soft

The hotel is located about 4.5 km from Freiburg, but is very easy to reach. There's a bus stop right outside. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was plentiful, but due to a lack of staff, it was quickly cleared out and only refilled later. This wasn't particularly pleasant, even though many tables were occupied. The rooms are large, very clean, and tidied daily. There's even a small refrigerator and a safe. Since there's no air conditioning, the room has a large fan. It cooled the room well, but the noise at night was disturbing while sleeping. But all in all, we were very satisfied and can still recommend this aging hotel.

The room is a very good size, with comfortable beds and an excellent bathroom. The check-in service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly.
They should provide a water heater in the room.

Nice big rooms. Well furnished. Quiet location. Easy access to town by city by bus/tram in 15 mins

A great hotel, would definitely stay here again. Very quiet and relaxing but very close to the town also. The restaurant in the hotel has great food and the breakfast buffet is delicious. All of the hotel staff were so nice, they made you feel very welcome.
