A true small luxury hotel - great food, great service, great staff. The Butler Breakfast is awesome and if you have the chance try their homemade Nutella it will blow your mind !!!

Very nice stay, walking distance wish we had another day in the area to explore and take the nature hike. Loved the breakfast.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in early June in this marvelous Heidelberg Hotel. Its history as well as the warm welcome by current hosts made it a highlight of our two-week sojourn in Europe - including Scandinavia and Switzerland, as well as Austria.
We arrived very late the first evening but were greeted effusively; breakfast each day was another highlight - delicious, with fabulous presentation.
The linens, bath facilities, and attention to every detail are also among the reasons that we highly recommend Die Hirschgasse Heidelberg.
And location, too, is ideal - for it's an easy walk to the center of old Heidelberg.

A truly splendid stay with wonderful staff. Our dinner was fantastic and breakfast each morning truly memorable. My only small criticism is having paper napkins at breakfast time. This feast deserves better.

Built in 1472, interior design by THE Laura Ashley, so vintage furniture & fittings. Make sure to make time for the extensive breakfast. And Le Gourmet one michelin star restaurant, prebook.

Great location & facility. Absolutely outstanding special dinner... worth every moment. The most outstanding feature is the kitchen, chef & service staff: each meal, from dinner to the lavish breakfast is superb.
We will stay here on our next visit & encourage you all to do so as well.

A wonderful and comfortable stay in an historic building. You would never know in the bucolic, tree covered property that a walk down the street one block bringings you to the old bridge over the Neckar and easy stroll over to the old town. If it is night then you ha e one of the best views ever of the Castle lit by megawatts of lighting. A fabulous view. Breakfast is awesome and would take too to describe. Loved our stay and will stay again on our next trip to Heidelberg

We loved Die Hirschgasse in Heidelberg. The suites were spacious and full of old world charm. As we walked in I saw and bought a book written by Mark Twain about his travels through Heidelberg and his experience at Die Hirschgasse. We will stay there again.
