The only downside is the room location: you have to take the elevator to the second floor and then walk down the stairs with your suitcases to the first floor. Special praise goes to this hotel! They upgraded my room for my birthday and even gave me a cake!

The room was clean! The hallway windows need to be opened, otherwise there's an odor. The breakfast was also very rich. The service was just so-so; one staff member quoted one price for extending our stay by a night, and the next day another staff member said the price had gone up by over 80 RMB. And there's no elevator!!!

Overall, the value for money is pretty good. It's a bit far from the old town, requiring about a 15-minute bus ride. The room had a bathtub, which was great for a nice warm soak after getting caught in the rain and feeling really cold that day.

This hotel has been passed down by a family for over a hundred years. The swimming pool is small, the service is good, and the breakfast variety is not very large.

I drove from Munich to the Rhine Valley and stayed here for one night. I also checked in Heidelberg, which was nice.

The staff were so kind to Koreans who came from far away! (Especially the female receptionist.) Even though I checked in late, they even arranged dinner for me, and the view was amazing! They even have a dedicated parking lot, so parking is super convenient. If you have a rental car, I highly recommend it. Thank you again for your kindness.

Fabulous hotel - newly built, good facilities, clean, bright and with outstanding views over Heidelberg. There is also good parking on site. The funicular railway is right next door giving access direct to the Altstadt and Schloss. Highly recommended.

Nice and clean rooms. Parking is at extra costs at the hotel car park. Very little communal area. If you just want a room to sleep for the night, it is fine. But if you travel with friends and would like to sit around and chat with a coffee, there are not much facilities at the hotel. It would be nice if at least they can offer some tea and coffee at the reception area.

Heidelberg is a walkable city and this hotel is located at a convenient spot for the same. It is within walking distance of the university. You can also easily access the Heidelberg Castle after a 30-minute walk from this place. There are multiple breakfast cafes and restaurants very close to the restaurant. A hotel with very friendly personal and amazing rooms. Every single one is different and we were in Malolo, at a Fiji beach house. I really loved the room and wonder how the other ones are. The hotel is on the main street of the old town, so everything is close: shops, the university and a bit further the way up to the castle.

I didn't appreciate every room was themed so perhaps my fault too. The New York room was a little old fashioned. my main issues were no air conditioning in an upstairs room in 30 degree days wasn't good. No fridge in the room. No bucket for ice when I asked for it. Unique is the location on the main (pedestrian) street, while the carpark (and main attractions) are not far away. The room amd bathroon are spacious. Daily cleaning is only if you ask for it. There are also no tea and coffee facilities in the room.only a bottle of water

Happy Stay We didn’t notice the reception is not 7/24, we checked email when we arrived and found the code for the room key. That’s okay. Easy to access. The room is clean and good for family. This is great for those on foot but it also means it is loud and busy in the area.
