Excellent location near the pedestrian area; fantastic, well-prepared breakfast. The only downside is the room location: you have to take the elevator to the second floor and then walk down the stairs with your suitcases to the first floor. Our dog was welcomed warmly, but it would be nice to at least include a small welcome gift.

Located within 1 kilometer of the central station, with a shuttle bus from Frankfurt Airport, it offers convenient access to tourist attractions, and there are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and cafes nearby – the location is superb. Unfortunately, our family stay at the NH Collection Heidelberg in December 2025 left us somewhat disappointed. We had booked a family room, expecting the level of comfort typically associated with a four-star superior hotel, but our personal experience fell short in several areas. I have two rooms in December before Christmas and it was one of the most comfortable bed I had for the two weeks trip. Two nights here and my baby son loves their breakfast. It comes with hot food and cold cuts, cheese and on table side orders for eggs. I tried the shashouka but I don’t really like it because the cumin was too strong. I had lovely champagne for my breakfast and can’t complaint more...

Special praise goes to this hotel! They upgraded my room for my birthday and even gave me a cake!

The room was clean! The hallway windows need to be opened, otherwise there's an odor. The breakfast was also very rich. The service was just so-so; one staff member quoted one price for extending our stay by a night, and the next day another staff member said the price had gone up by over 80 RMB. And there's no elevator!!!

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Carpark onside only 8€/day. Couple of good restaurants within a 10 minute walk.

Not located in the old town, but the location is still convenient if you're self-driving.

overall quite good and sufficient for everything you need with reasonable price. Parking is 8 euro per day and driving to city about 15min. We found nearby with quite a number of restaurants but didn’t try out. Hotel comes with a bar and reasonably priced.

Overall, the value for money is pretty good. It's a bit far from the old town, requiring about a 15-minute bus ride. The room had a bathtub, which was great for a nice warm soak after getting caught in the rain and feeling really cold that day.

We have booked Leonardo Heidelberg hotel for a week and it was one of the best choices we've made in this trip!! The staff were very kind and helpful and helped with everything we needed! The breakfast was great - go for the chocolate croissant!! The location was exactly what we looked for with plenty of parking places

Very nice hotel, not far from the train station. Also has a good restaurant.

Not far from Heidelberg Station, surrounded by supermarkets, DM and pharmacies, as well as the Good Luck Hans burger restaurant, it is very convenient.

The hotel is new and well furnished with clean room. The location is good with supermarket, lots of restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, there is not enough parking places.

The hotel is in a relatively modern area of Heidelberg, not in the old town. Parking is located downstairs of the hotel and costs 14.8 euros. The room is quite clean and not too big.

Convenient location near train station, quiet and functional room with comfortable large bed. Overall clean, but shower door had some mold.

This hotel was wonderful! It was in a great location close to public transportation and a little bakery across the street. Everyone at the front desk was very helpful and kind. The rooms were lovely, clean and well-appointed. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and it was amazing!

Very beautifully located to view Night sky of Heidelberg. Room is very clean and comfortable.

I drove from Munich to the Rhine Valley and stayed here for one night. I also checked in Heidelberg, which was nice.

The staff were so kind to Koreans who came from far away! (Especially the female receptionist.) Even though I checked in late, they even arranged dinner for me, and the view was amazing! They even have a dedicated parking lot, so parking is super convenient. If you have a rental car, I highly recommend it. Thank you again for your kindness.

Good for weekend relax outside the city, the hotel is location top of hill and easy to access with car.

Fabulous hotel - newly built, good facilities, clean, bright and with outstanding views over Heidelberg. There is also good parking on site. The funicular railway is right next door giving access direct to the Altstadt and Schloss. Highly recommended.

We had lovely days. Once more. It was the fourth time visiting. Location awesome. Rooms pretty nice. Service can vary, depending on the person. We’ve been lucky with 19 persons out of 20. As always - how you treat people is important how they treat you.

A fantastic hotel, room was really comfortable and spacious and so clean. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Free parking on site which was a bonus. Breakfast had plenty to choose from and tasty. Only a short drive into Heidelberg so location great too! Totally recommend the hotel as a place to stay 😊😊😊

Very nice room This is a great place to stay if you have a car to move around although a tram station is not too far from it. A hotel with very friendly personal and amazing rooms. Every single one is different and we were in Malolo, at a Fiji beach house. I really loved the room and wonder how the other ones are. The hotel is on the main street of the old town, so everything is close: shops, the university and a bit further the way up to the castle.

It is a very interesting hotel, each room representing a certain city from around the world. Mine being a coastal city, the surprises are pleasing.

We loved the central location of this hotel on the main pedestrian street amongst shops and restaurants. Our rooms were Roma and Peking, both of which were highly unique, very clean and comfortable. The staff we encountered were super friendly. Parking outside is not possible, so we’d recommend you drive to the end of Theatrestrausse to where you can see the pedestrianised part, and take your baggage...

I didn't appreciate every room was themed so perhaps my fault too. The New York room was a little old fashioned. my main issues were no air conditioning in an upstairs room in 30 degree days wasn't good. No fridge in the room. No bucket for ice when I asked for it. Great location and the front door is staffed during day time hours but little of the hotel luxuries if that is what you are after

Unique is the location on the main (pedestrian) street, while the carpark (and main attractions) are not far away. The room amd bathroon are spacious. Daily cleaning is only if you ask for it. There are also no tea and coffee facilities in the room.only a bottle of water

Happy Stay We didn’t notice the reception is not 7/24, we checked email when we arrived and found the code for the room key. That’s okay. Easy to access. The room is clean and good for family. But no air conditioning, only with fans. Has supermarket nearby in walking distance. Can buy and cook simple dishes in the room. The breakfast is incredible.

This review is for the restaurant only. From the pleasant welcome to the wonderful evening, there was nothing to complain about. The food was delicious, the menu items were well-coordinated, and there was a good wine list. The cinema was excellent, definitely worth a visit.

This is an older hotel and unfortunately not what I would consider a 4 star hotel. Hotel has a nice view over the city but it is a little more difficult to get to, having to use either a taxi/uber or the funicular when it is open (winter house are limited). The rooms are very small and the bed is quite firm. Doesn’t quite live up to what we were hoping for in a one night stay in Heidelberg

In fact, I was there invited to attend a private party, but I was positively surprised The hotel has a wonderful location within a forest of green trees and a stunning view, especially at sunset. The hotel offers a good level of food dishes and the service was not bad in addition to the cleanliness of the hotel facilities. I recommend visiting the hotel

We liked the location away from the busy centre but only a ride on the funicular railway. Breakfast was plenty the staff very attentive and cheerful and friendly. We had a small room but super clean and comfortable.

The location is very nice, the staff friendly and attentive. And the view is gorgeous. Dated facilities, mediocre food and a network infrastructure inappropriate for a location that wants to qualify as conference hotel in modern today, left a lot to be desired though.

I was at a wedding on the weekend. The hotel is actually really nice. The personal is really friendly. But as they advertise they are a 4 stars hotel, they should take care of some small things.
