Hotel Schwarzwaldhof in Hinterzarten

This hotel was so perfect for my stay in the black forest! My room was so cute and comfortable, and the owners were so kind and nice! The location can’t be beat, right by the train station and next to the buses to take you to the Christmas market. I had a great breakfast here, but not so great experience dining at dinner the one night I was there. I’m not sure why the service was so off, it was a complete different experience at breakfast, which was so nice a friendly. I would still stay here again, and give the restaurant another try.

Eclectic clean hotel
Had a fantastic stay here. Situated right by the train station. Friendly staff throughout and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast in the mornings too.

Clean, charming, picturesque, central, recommended
I like Hinterzarten very much. The atmosphere, the quiet, the view, the clean air, the people.
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and had a great time. The room and the hotel are very clean, the bed is very comfortable, the room is very large and has a balcony, towels are changed every day, and the staff was lovely and great.
On the last day we had to leave for the airport at 6.30 in the morning and the kitchen staff prepared us a very tasty lunch bag containing: slices with yellow cheese, lots of fruit, hard-boiled eggs, juice, vegan cookies (some of us are vegan), bread and vegan spreads. Just adorable!
The only criticism I have is that the hotel is a bit outdated, including the bathroom. But on the other hand - this is also his charm! So it didn't bother us and we loved it very much. Again, the staff are lovely and helped us with everything. Highly recommend.

Excellent welcoming, simple but quite large and comfortable quiet room. Good infrastructure and average pricing. Nice classical breakfast, free parking and good wifi. Access by train is also very easy. A good dress in this very touristy place.

Great place, excellent food but no air conditioning.

Nice and Tippical hotel, good situated. We were 2 adults and 1 child, we get a nice and spacious room. The bathroom was large and with all the facilities. The breakfast was varied and copious. The personnal was friendly. We eat one vegetarian diner, it was appetezing and good.

Very nice place to eat. Very delicious food and nice staffs. Worth to try.

All staff and the place itself makes you feel welcome from the first moment you enter the place. The food is great and the service up to the task.
The location itself is full of history,everything inside makes you contemplate at long past times.
Amazing experience,will visit again for sure.
