Good basic hotel across from the train station in Titisee. Free parking was helpful, and it was in walking distance to the Badeparadis. The included breakfast was good and well stocked. Note that there are rooms on the fourth floor and there is no lift, so that can be a slog. The rooms are traditional and a bit beaten around the edges, but fine — the only thing we missed were curtains for the window in the sitting room / bathroom area (or a door to close it off) so the early sun through the ceiling window wouldn’t wake us.

My main complaint was check-in. The hotel badgers you twice a day for a week before your stay to do online check-in. I did it, and when I turned up at their check-in machine (there is no staffed reception), none of what you entered in online check-in has been noted and you have to enter it ALL, all over again. Very odd and annoying system.

The location is great, right at the entrance to the forest zipline climb. My four-person room was large and comfortable, new and clean, though the amenities were limited.

Because I arrived at the hotel around 6 PM, there were no staff left; it was self-check-in. However, the staff I met the next morning were all very friendly. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but I found it delicious.

Great stay but way too complicated for check in and getting a Konos card (we never got one). The breakfast door was locked and folks were trying to figure out how to get in, and only entered when someone left.

Rooms are great for families.

Unfortunately we had a lot of problems with the check-in. It's an automated check in and when the system encountered problems, we had to make so many calls to fix the check in problems, and again lots of calls to get the right codes for the room. One should be prepared to have a phone & enough battery so you can make phone calls as there is no reception for check in. Also this happened to us around 6 pm so luckily someone picked the phone after a few tries. Not sure what would have happned if we had check in much later. The staff during breakfast were very helpful. Decent breakfast choices. Walking distance to Badeparadies. A few minutes walk from station (had to go around cuz there's no direct path) Seilpark which is at the hotel was good. Family room is very spacious and includes balcony. Had a separate room that we can close off for privacy which is perfect. Does not have air-conditioning but during our stay it was cold enough at night so we slept fine.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our kids loved the bunk beds, and the room was very spacious and clean. The hotel was quiet, and the breakfast was nice. All of the staff were very friendly. We would stay again!

This is the worst experience I have had in a stay in Europe so far. When I arrived at the hotel, there was no one there. I later asked that there was no one there at 4 o'clock. However, they usually send emails to guests with check-in codes and so on, but I didn't receive them (it may be that Ctrip and the third party are not connected. I don't know about this. (Situation) Fortunately, I finally called the boss and finally helped check in. The second point is that this hotel does not have an elevator at this price and there is no elevator🛗! One of us carried the child, one carried a 30-inch large box, and the other carried the child's stroller. Finally, when we got to the room, we saw that it was actually an attic! Finally, when I was about to go out to eat, the door couldn't be locked. It couldn't be locked from the outside but could be locked from the inside. Finally, I had to carry my valuables on my back. I was really speechless. I took Ctrip and there was no water, no pajamas, and no toiletries.
