Hotel is ok for the money but at the expense of other stuff Noise - heating unit starts every night 1:40 and 7:40 on the morning making a noise that will wake you up. Very lovely place in Kehl, Spacious rooms, cleaner than 5-star hotels. The hotel looks like brand new. The ambience is calm and quiet. breakfast is great with a huge hall. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, receptionist Mr Mao. They have a racing track underneath the hotel, super fun for kids and adults. Would definitely come again 👍🏻

Area was further than we expect from the Strasboug market however the tram worked incredibly well. The hotel it self is spotless with the nicest staff. We loved our stay!!!

The woman at reception was lovely, very nice. The room itself was very clean, the bathroom was spotless. The decor almost made us throw up however. We had three issues with the hotel. First, it’s 900 yards from the nearest tram stop which is the only way to explore Strasbourg and the rest of Kehl. There was no mention of that in the material we reviewed prior to booking. Second, the size of the room. We booked a comfort double which was supposed to be 237 SF. There’s no way room 62 is that size. Third, their pricing is out of whack for a property...

Nice hotel. Room was a bit small just a sliding door for the bathroom. We got a room towards the street and it was a bit noisy. Make sure to ask for a room towards the back

Superb location on the Franco-German border close to Strasbourg. The service was warm and welcoming; however, the experience was marred by some aging and broken equipment.

Somewhere to stay when the hotels in Strasbourg are too expensive or unavailable. Great tram and rail link from directly outside the hotel. Area of Kehl is a bit grim and car dependent but the hotel is fine, clean and well equipped, with automated check-in and out procedures (a bit finicky but worked in the end). A shopping mall nearby. Didn't interact with staff at all as we arrived late and left...

Not in the central of Strasbourg but there’s a direct tram that takes you straight to the hotel after about a 2 mins walk. May not be the fanciest but just what I needed for a good night’s rest. Overall for this price, worth the stay!

The hotel is at a very convenient location both close to Kehl town center and the border to France. The tram station is just outside the hotel front entrance which can take the Tram Route D to visit Strasbourg. Highly recommended for people traveling in Germany but would like to have a day trip to Strasbourg.

Room was fine but the staff at dinner were not very welcoming. We had a dinner reservation for 7 pm and the maitre’d was not very welcoming and service was slow.

We were transferred to this hotel due to problems at our original hotel. Our original hotel was old, tired with very rude staff and awful food. The Hirsch was opposite - the staff were extremely helpful and the room was excellent. We would be very happy to stay here again.

I've stayed at Europa Hotel for over 10 years but the standard is unfortunately going down, despite increasing prices. The latest: self check-in (and check-out), room cleaning only upon request and canned (v. fresh) fruit for breakfast.

Traveling solo with pet The room lacked a kettle for making coffee or tea. Providing this basic amenity would greatly enhance guests' comfort, especially when dining options are limited due to restrictions on pets in certain areas. Overall the hotel staff were very friendly and understanding, the tram station is across the road, and in 20 minutes one arrives in the center of Strasbourg.

The hotel was perfect. Free parking, clean, well lit, nice staff, quick check in, excellent shower, comfy bed. We loved it. It is realistically about 30 min drive to Strassbourg center with the traffic.

No reception, even at 4pm so checkout very tricky Basically no reception, no one at hotel at all, and a message was meant to be sent to me with my room number, or code to get the key, which was not sent. Ok hotel in Kehl Good location in Kehl with good comminucation to Strasbourg. Nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was not the best but it was coffie and breed. The check out time was after the breakfast with was a little bit to early.

Good basic lodging and less expensive option than staying right in Strasbourg. This hotel is just over the bridge and is a 10 minute, easy, and cheap tram ride to the center of Strasbourg.

It's only about a 15-minute walk from the train station and an even shorter walk if you take the tram D from Strasbourg Train Station. The breakfast is adequate, but. not stunning.
