The overnight stay was very pleasant. The receptionist was very friendly and gave good advice on nearby places to visit. The room itself was cozy and loved the high ceiling and large windows. Got the parking space in the hotel premises for a small price and was helpful. The hotel's location is very good and has nice proximity to sightseeing places and supermarkets as well.

Beautiful and cozy hotel, was very comfortable room for our family of 4 people, the location is super good.

We really enjoyed it. We will come back.

The City of Konstanz is a busy destination, so it was difficult to get a Hotel Room, but the local Tourism Office came to my rescue. The Hotel Konstanz is NOT easy to find if you are a stranger to the City, but all the citizens I asked for directions were very helpful. The check-in was easy with a very friendly young Lady. I booked a single room, which was very spacious, and the room with a large bed ( see photos ) was clean, including the bathroom. Breakfast was outstanding, there was a great selection of food items, and the young staff from Vietnam was very friendly ,efficient and accommodating. There is plenty of Parking on the property, and you are being charged for parking your car. I certainly will recommend staying here, I had no problems during my two nights stay. Keep up the good work.

I find it a shame that the reception is only open until 3 p.m. Parking is no longer free.

The place is nice with its high ceilings and spacious rooms. All you would expect from a 3 star hotel with a good breakfast and clean facilities. Excellent to use as a hub if you’re cycling around the area. Only thing I personally didn’t like were the pillows - lacking substance

The accommodation was bright and very clean. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff very friendly.

The hotel has converted rooms in an old barracks (solid construction, very high ceilings). The look is accordingly, but that didn't bother us. We had a family room (about 10% more expensive than a regular room). It was very spacious, with two wide beds that could be pushed together to form a family bed. The bathroom with shower was clean and recently renovated. There was also a kitchenette. The location is very good, with shops, trains, and buses all within a 5-10 minute walk. The breakfast was very good, although a bit expensive if you add it to the regular price. The only flaw is the organization: There's different information everywhere, and it's unclear what exactly applies, e.g., regarding breakfast times, reception opening hours, are rooms automatically cleaned every two days or only upon request, etc. Apparently, the hotel frequently changes the rules and times and then forgets to update all the notices and website information accordingly. The reception staff is apparently staffed by untrained temporary staff who also don't really know their way around.
