Great central location. Well appointed room with comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with L’Occitane toiletries. (Also had a hair dryer though this was not mentioned on the room description). Great service with clean towels and bottled water each day. Also a good breakfast - and all for a very reasonable price. On asking the hotel provided a regional travel pass for the duration of my stay. Not only does this cater for transport to Basel - but also to numerous towns - I visited Bad Säckingen, Rheinfelden and Zell as well. Only minor minus point was that the wi-fi password was hidden away in the box containing tea and coffee - could have been more prominently displayed. Overall great experience and I would return.

Was a great stay .. easy to check in just follow the instructions and call the number provided if you have any questions. my only wish that there is a fridge in the room and also iron .

Good sized room but not keen on glass bathroom doors that do not close correctly.
Was surprised to be charged for bottles of water left in room - had mistakenly assumed these were complimentary 4Euros is no big deal but it would have been good to make the charge clear.

I would like to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience with the customer service and the accommodation I booked. The customer service representative who handled my call was unfriendly and unprofessional. She claimed that I had deliberately chosen the cheapest option, despite the fact that Check24 suggested booking the more expensive /comfort room instead of the cheaper. Her tone and attitude were offensive and unhelpful. the room I booked turned out to be far below acceptable standards. The floor was unclean, with visible hair scattered across it. There was no proper toilet paper provided, only half a used roll. The bathroom had only one towel, and the room itself was equipped with just one chair and a very small table. If this is considered a "comfort room" for two people, I am left wondering what the standard is for a single person or a non-comfort room. This experience has left me highly dissatisfied....!!!!

Clean, tidy, comfortable but lacking personality
Great location, but the hotel made no connection with me as there was no-one to check us in - this immediately starts the experience negatively. Where's the warm, welcome guys? No food or drinks other than breakfast. Therefore, low score as this was a cold stay.

We stayed in room 2 which is above the cafe and it was noisy until late at night.
Breakfast was very good and food choices covered all needs. Overall a very nice property very conveniently placed for shopping and restaurants.

Love this place. Located in the center of town, close to good restaurants and bars. In 5 minutes you are in Switzerland or France. Appreciate the free water and the friendly service. The breakfast buffet is definitely worth the 8 Euros, with fresh bread, buns, jam, eggs, yoghurt, juice, cappuccino and much more.

The hotel was in a perfect location. We managed to find a parking place at a garage almost next to the hotel. We came at the afternoon when the reception was closed, but just a phonecall and we got the key. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was quite large. The bathroom door was a bit weird, cause you could almost see through it. The breakfast was good. Delicious coffee.
