Good view but lack of commitment by staff in accountability term in terms of self called out to renovate building. Any compliment given, was destroyed on purpose. An true gem building with lack of commitment to its amenities! Unsure whether booking again

It's located in the city center, so transportation is convenient, and you can see the water tower from the window. The indoor environment is so-so; I was scared by the cockroaches in the bathroom.

The hotel is grand both inside and out, boasting a century of history. The rooms are comfortable, and breakfast is served on the lower level. The decor is antique, and the breakfast selection is abundant, making it an unforgettable experience. The parking lot is 1.85 meters high, located below the Manhaim Water Tower Garden, and is connected to the hotel by a tunnel. Parking on the second basement level will take you directly to the hotel.

Close to the train station and city center.
Rooms are comfortable but dated. The carpet is slightly stained, there are large limescale deposits on the bathroom fixtures, and a small plant is growing from the pipes...

The room faces the iconic water tower, offering an unbeatable view; you could stand by the window and gaze out all day. The hotel itself is an old building, but the interior is decorated like a palace, somewhat reminiscent of the Grand Budapest Hotel. Although the room is small, it's clean and tidy, and all amenities are provided. The breakfast is very generous, and the restaurant has a warm, retro ambiance.

This hotel is a bit frustrating. They initially told us they couldn't find our booking number, then I contacted the platform, and the front desk let us stay anyway. The platform couldn't reach the front desk 💁🏻♀️, and said they could give us a refund. Since they let us stay, I felt bad about canceling. And when we got to the room, there was no air conditioning. Just plain ridiculous. The only good thing about it is the environment; it's great for taking pictures, but don't expect anything else.

Excellent location across from the main square with lovely restaurants nearby and an easy walk to the main train station. Rooms were very dated and the air conditioner did not work. No one to fix it as technicians don’t work Sunday and no one bothered the next day. The request was ignored or forgotten about. Breakfast was good and staff in restaurant friendly. Rooms were big with high ceiling and bed was comfortable. I would suggest a different option for a hotel.
