There is a restaurant on-site for meals, and free parking is offered, though the number of parking spaces is limited. Overall, Hotel Storchen delivers basic accommodations suitable for short stays or business trips but may not meet expectations for longer or more comfort-focused visits.

Usually I understand the hard work to keep a business going.
But I must say Storchen has let me down. The pictures on google are misleading. While those nice rooms may exist, for sure I wasn’t lucky enough to get one :(.
The building is old and once you enter the hotel it smells like old.
Our rooms were very small and the matress way too to soft - and so old that they were shaped to lean to one side. Had to use the pillow not to fall down during the night.
The wooden floor was not washed - someone may have spilled something, because you could see the traces.
Breakfast at a partner Gasthaus 200m away was ok, but to get out in the morning (it was raining), to get your breakfast and then return isn’t just the perfect way to start your day.
Whereas the disadvantages of having an old building are obvious, some of them can be easily turned into advantages with a little creativity. But as they say: cleanliness is next to godliness… unfortunately in such a competitive hotel environment, Storchen won’t be on the list for my future trips to Ravensburg.
Completely overpriced.

Great and clean hotel I am satisfied

If you arrive at the hotel after 4pm, you must call a mobile number to obtain a code to access your key card. Having seen many poor reviews, I was apprehensive for this stay. My room which seemed to be a suite, with a separate living area was very clean but basic. No issues with the room and was completely fit for purpose. Breakfast was a small selection served in the restaurant and did the job. If you are looking for home comforts and general comforts then this is not the hotel for you. Would return for business but anything more than 2/3 nights would be difficult.

Miserable Breakfast, uncomfortable beds and Toilette does not flush down.
They charge way to much the night for what they offer. Worst experience in Ravensburg trying to have breakfast at their "buffet" was a nightmare,

Location close to the historical centre. Room spacious, but the whole night was heard the traffic noise from the street. Rooms a little heated, and very few and poorly lit. Services at a low level - 1 worker holds a job as a receptionist and attendant of the breakfast bar, both because the holdup is. The same hands receives money and completes the pastries. Cleaning in the rooms is inadequate.

Very small room with a tiny bathroom. Equipment okay. Breakfast is rather boring with no fruit and only a cereal. Staff is dedicated. There are only 2 Parking spaces are available. Parking is in the adjacent street, if something is free.

Eva and Wolfgang were the local tour guides to the bar at Hotel Storchen on the day I visited. Great beer and schnapps. Full dinner menu is worth sticking around for. Otherwise this bar is quiet and unassuming. Well worth the stop in Ravensburg.
