GINN City & Lounge Hotel Ravensburg in Ravensburg

Unfortunately, our stay at GINN City & Lounge Hotel Ravensburg was a major disappointment due to a serious issue with the room flooring. We called the hotel in advance to specifically ask whether the rooms had carpet or hard flooring, as I suffer from extreme dust allergies. The woman at the front desk assured us the rooms had hard floors. Based on that information, we booked our stay.

When we arrived, we were shocked to find that the room did have carpet, and when we checked with the man at the front desk, he confirmed that all rooms in the hotel have carpet. By that point, all nearby hotels were fully booked, so we had no choice but to stay. I barely slept the entire weekend and felt unwell the whole time, all because we were given false information over the phone.

I’m still suffering from a rash caused by the carpet, and it’s been over a week now. This isn’t just about discomfort, this is a serious health issue that I’m continuing to deal with, and it could have been completely avoided.

Extreme allergies should never be taken lightly. If a guest calls to check something medically important like flooring type, it’s your responsibility to give accurate information. If you're not sure, check and confirm. We don’t call to be misled or lied to just so you can secure another booking under your name.

This experience ruined my weekend and left me with lasting effects. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who expects honesty, care, or basic professionalism.
