We discovered this restaurant by chance. It was such a lovlely location with a really good menu we decided to book for dinner. The venison goulash in particular was superb. The potato soup was divine. All five of us enjoyed if so much we went back the following night to try the rest of the menu. Love their spatzle. If you are hungry go there! Do it! Eat!

A beautiful location... food was excellent with a good choice breakfast. The toilet and shower rooms are shared on corridor but we're always clean.. some traffic heard at night.. we stayed room 8 and 2 x toilets were opposite. View from bedroom was perfect. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Evening meal could only be reserved from 6pm - 6.30pm... which was a little early for ourselves.. Good venue if you want to walk /Hike. The Apple strudel was best we'd ever had. Parking free

My fiance and I stopped here on a road trip through Germany. The staff was so nice and the location is so so beautiful! It is a nice private retreat away from the bustle of Fussen and tourist areas. The turquoise lake and mountains behind it are amazing. The included breakfast was sooo good and versatile! We swam in the water and drank beer in the evening by the peaceful surroundings. They have beer to take from a fridge that you get charged for after - for after the staff leaves. The beds and rooms are a bit dated but everything is very very clean including the shared the bathrooms/showers. We will be back!

Staff are just so sweet, they really made us feel welcome. Our room was cute but also clean. We had a room with a view of the lake. If you have dinner in the hotel restaurant, I highly recommend the Käsespätzle with small salad. Yumm, but also really rich & filling. They gave us a special discount card to use in the local town of Füssen & surrounding castles. Great as we were planning on going to Neuschwanstein Castle & Hohenschwangau Castle as well as the museum housed in the gothic castle, Hohes Schloss. Will definately have to come back with doggo in tow, as so far pretty much everywhere in Southern Germany is dog friendly.

Nature, beauty, idyllic setting, old old rooms with creaky floors. Early morning swims in the lake. So perfect. Such a romantic and beautiful place. Slight improvement could be if restaurant was open every evening.

We were here for a birthday event and the service has been great. They have thought about minute details and the staff was very friendly. It's located very close to the lake and when it's nice weather for sure sitting outside is great. One can park close by but you need a sign from the restaurant to get the allowance. Overall a recommendation for such events.

have been several times and it is a favourite. Very friendly staff, good food idyllic location and old world charm.Wifi is mediocre but there's seldom much time for that.....

Good breakfast, with good price/quality food in the restaurant. The view is also nice. Minus two points because of the following remarks: Beds are to short for todays standards (my feet came over the end). The Wifi is really non existent, bad wifi.

Very quiet place, directly on the lake, very beautiful view from the summer terrace of the surrounding mountains. Extensive menu, friendly service and the food here was very tasty.
