Landgasthof Hotel Hirsch in Lossburg

we had a wonderful stay at Landgastof Hotel Hirsch! We traveled to this area to visit the Alpirsbach brewery, which exceeded our expectations. also this area is incredibly beautiful.

When we arrived at the hotel after a long day of travel, we were greeted by a super friendly staff. The woman at the desk said, "are you the Furlong Family?" (We were arriving just before dinner and the last to check in)

She kindly explained everything about the hotel. it is important to know that breakfast is included for every guest! We didn't realize this but they kindly called us and held breakfast for us which was very very delicious and not to be missed!

The roads were charming and very comfortable for our family of two adults and two teenagers. It had a nice balcony to view the idyllic surrounding area.

We decided to come back down for dinner and are so glad we did! First, the waiter was incredibly kind and spoke a very good English. He was very sweet. Our dinner was delicious, my husband having venison stew, I had Swabian ravioli, and the kids had hamburgers that were eventful and made them very happy! We were sad that we did not have room for dessert! Also, the Kitchen sent out A taste of black forest ham that blew our minds! It was so good and I'm thrilled that we had a chance to try it when we are in this region. We will look for more!

We slept very well on the comfortable beds. And in the morning my husband went down looking for some coffee and came back with a tray that the person at the desk had prepared. I was so grateful!

We are Americans traveling around the black forest Region in the winter and got some very cold rainy weather, so it was nice to come back to such a comfortable cozy place. There were other instances of hospitality where the staff went above and beyond also. It was nice to have such a friendly place to rest. Parking was also very easy and free.

Great hotel was very nice with great food

We are invited for a 60th birthday celebration. The food is excellent and the ambiance is very nice . It think I’m the first Filipino visited this place .

We were here today for a 60th birthday party; it was absolutely delicious. I particularly like the gourmet platter. The service was super friendly and helpful. There's plenty of parking behind the building. We're very satisfied.

Beautiful traditional Black Forest hotel. We have been extremely well looked after by lovely staff. Who have gone out of their way to make our stay memorable. Really clean and comfortable. So good we’re staying another night.

Superbly clean and well organized, warm ambience, newly renovated, great personnel

After a day trip we made on the way home in the deer garden.
Through a conversation between my daughter and me, the (very friendly and attentive) service has probably noticed that we were a bit under time pressure. Then in a Jiffy everything went. From ordering to payment process. Here is a heartfelt thank you!
To the food: my husband and I are trying currently to feed us, LowCarb, first we had concerns, "eating out", but after our visit to the deer my husband was even convinced that a meal without carbohydrates is a pleasure :-).
For the price: if you want to stop off here, you have to be aware that you can't get a freshly prepared food made with high-quality, local ingredients for 1.50.
What has surprised us very positively, were the prices of the children's menu. For 3 fish sticks + French fries + salad + Ketchup + Mayo under 5 €. In some respects, comparable to the hotel restaurant to get just the fries.
For our taste the (warm) would have a eating food more salt will not hurt, but this is a very individual opinion, since we eat relatively salty.
All in all, a great conclusion of a wonderful day!
