Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel did not meet my expectations.

There were several issues during my stay. First, if you choose not to purchase the breakfast option, you are required to pay separately for coffee. I have stayed in many hotels and have never encountered a situation where coffee had to be paid for separately in this way. Considering the overall price of the stay, this was surprising and disappointing.

Additionally, the room key resets if it is placed near a mobile phone, which caused repeated inconvenience as I had to return to reception multiple times to reactivate it.

The room had an unusual smell from the moment I entered, which affected the overall comfort. The shower was also not properly cleaned.

I also made an honest mistake when booking — I accidentally reserved the room for two people instead of one. However, the hotel was not willing to make any adjustment or show flexibility regarding the rate. As a result, I ended up paying approximately €500 extra due to this error, which felt excessive and lacked consideration.

Overall, given the price paid, I expected a much higher standard of service and hospitality.

Although the room is spacious, our shower tray wouldn’t drain, almost overflowing with each shower. We are very conscious of water usage but the tray wouldn’t drain immediately fill and not drain properly. We tried calling guest services but the phone in the room wouldn’t work, we even tried calling from our personal phones without luck. Don’t expect extra pillows or a single extra towel.
