I travel here for work two or three times a year. Every time I am made to feel welcome. The rooms are always spotless and well laid out. The restaurant and bar area are very nice and good place to relax.

Excellent upscale restaurant (probably best food in town) with nice ambience. Great wine selection. Hotel rooms a bit old fashion some with very narrow subtle beds. I personably don't like the very thin pillows and the rather small blankets which either cover the feet or the chest but not both. Very friendly staff.

There was little shampoo and a cobweb in the room; in the evening we didn't know when, where, or how to use the map.

We were there for one night, the staff was friendly and welcoming. It was cleaned properly. The rooms were quiet and cozy.

First impression was good. However, several things here and there created a rather uncomfortable stay. The construction around the building was rather distracting. Our floor was extremely warm. We had A/C in the room which shut off every two hours, making it rather uncomfortably warm during the night. We were provided with a small fan which was covered in layers of dust. Nice hotel. Building is old (but renovated), thus the rooms are smaller than newer hotels. Hotel has very limited parking, one usually has to use a nearby Parking lot (building) a block away. Breakfast was reasonable.

Everything was amazing! Self checking is easy, fast and you can do it at any time. The room is super clean, cozzy and with everything you need. All the hotel is super clean and beautiful. Staff is always willing to help you! and the breakfast buffet is really good!!

This is my favourite hotel in the area. Their automated self-check in system is amazing and very convenient for drama free late-arrival.

We stayed at the Parkhotel Sletz for a weekend. The bathroom and room were spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms are newly renovated and have good flat-screen TVs. The location is ideal, on a quiet side street.

Clean and well-maintained hotel - recommended A clean and well-maintained hotel centrally located in Giessen. Very accommodating staff. We had a spacious room, which was quiet and peaceful. We parked the car in the courtyard which was safe. Plentiful and tasty breakfast. We will stay here again, can definitely be recommended.

The hotel is a bit dated, but the staff and cleanliness are excellent.

A great place if you want to stay in Gießen. The personell is very kind and helpful and always good fo a chat and laugh. The breakfast was fresh and tasty and available starting from 07:00. If you should need a nice recommandation about the area nearby just ask the owners ;) If I should visit Gießen again, I would not hesitate to book this place again.

Very close to the Hauptbahnhof and a 10 minute walk into the centre of town. It was very clean and comfortable. Friendky staff.

No elevator, breakfast leaves something to be desired, and they were doing construction in the adjoining room which was very disruptive

I am very often in the year in Giessen, Germany, and the Parkhotel is a favorite in my Bed. Super Breakfast buffet, who complains there's somewhere else to be satisfied.

Breakfast was great, fresh pineapple, melon and salmon. Bathroom in double room 211 is tiny (toilet, sink and shower on 2mx1m area), for 89EUR not okay. A star deduction for that. The walk to the eye hospital (400m) and to the Bar Paprica (diagonally opposite) ultra-short. Edeka near, train station also!

Everything was as expected and the decor was very nice. The staff was very friendly. The only improovement could be softer pillows (they had a pillow menu, and we asked for a neck pillow - it was gigantic - not made for women.) The duvet was amazing and I used a corner for a pillow. I should have contacted the reception for another pillow.

Outside it has the look of a palace. Inside it’s quirky and modern. Very comfy. Loved it.

Good breakfast. Clean rooms. The exterior looks very nice, as does the interior. However, the design of the latter is manifestly impractical: the showers are fully enclosed such that mold is an inevitability, but the bathrooms themselves aren't enclosed which again doesn't make sense.

I stay here for business. It is in a good location for the town centre. The hotel is clean and the staff polite. The hotel overall needs a big refurbishment. It is showing its age in too many places.

Good 3 Stars hotel with a small rooms! It's a little bit pricey for it furniture but Breakfast included in price.. Free Parking is available in small parking area and no reservation needed..

Very lovely place This was such a cute hotel. The staff was very friendly, and our family said the breakfast was very good. If we had one issue, it was that they are not staffed until your check-in time, so don't expect to be able to check in early.

Nowadays we book the accomodations in advance, looking for cozy, not too big hotels, and again we made a success: the house is old, modernized with taste. Our room even had a balcony, though the weather was not in favour. The beds were comfortable, as always in German hotels or Gasthauses. The small typical restaurant did not leave us hungry, on the contrary, and with tasty German courses.

The double room was only made up for a single guest. The two coffee pods for the double room were not replaced daily.

Could be less the amount If you’re planning for a low key stay then this hotel is for you . We love walking around downtown so the location is not convenient for us . The tiny room is NOT comfortable moving around and placing “stuff “ and the amount we paid for is not worth even with great customer service . Extra pay for breakfast is GOOD!

A lovely Guesthouse on the Lahn. Very convenient to Giessen for Business and close to the river for a walk. Just watch out that reception closes early, better to make advance arrangements in case of flight delays.

Lovely little hotel in a nice setting along the river. Great food. Sunday evening in winter I think they have candlelight dinners in front of the fire. Danny, Matthew and the rest really took great care of me. They have roulade on the menu that it's fabulous.

Everything was wonderful. The only small difficulty was check-in was a box on the wall that you input a code and your room key pops out. I didn't know to look for this and stood around in the entrance for 30 minutes like a dummy. lol

Very well managed hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast buffet. A very short walk up the hill is a castle built around 1000 AD. It is a must see. The views from the top of the castle are spectacular! Plus, 2 restaurants and a beer garten at the castle. A highlight of our trip.

Budget Hotel, but 5star welcome and service. Very comfortable,firm bed provided an excellent night's sleep. Varied breakfast choices, crispy rolls, cereals, jams,honey, cold meats, cheeses, bookended by orange juice and excellent coffee. A friendly goodbye, and yes, we will stop again.

We were overall happy with the stay. The location of the hotel is Top. The rooms should be cabins improved in order to shower the one or the other. All in all a good Hotel

Perfectly accessible by car, with very good Parking facilities. Despite the proximity to the A485 and it is available in the Hotel with the window closed, wonderfully quiet. You can sleep so well, and starts with a delicious Breakfast and a very nice condition (from Switzerland? ) in a new day. Dogs with their owners are also welcomed!
