They have the worst possible customer service!

The AI bot ends the call because the reception and reservation departments are closed, even though I am calling during office hours on a Wednesday.

The only way to reach a human being is to select 'make a new reservation'. The first agent ended the call again because he could not log into his account. I was happy to wait, but apparently he could not help me.

After calling the AI voicemail system for a third time, I was connected with the real person, who transferred the call to reception.

This is too much work for any guest or travel agent who simply wants to speak to a human. It's seriously unprofessional and unhelpful which is the sole purpose of ANY AI BOT or customer service line.

Firstly the pictures were not accurate at the time of booking. They referred to the sister hotel in Giessen, not this hotel in Linden (8K away). On reaching this hotel, late check-in was supposedly available by computer. Staff availability seems to be minimal. However this did not work. The system freezes at the point where you enter your passport expiry details. So you end up standing outside at midnight unable to check in. We finally managed it by checking in by mobile phone. (This in itself is a real faff). This problem is mentioned in reviews from two months back. I spoke to staff about it in the morning. She admitted it hadn’t been working for a week, but they had to wait for someone from IT to fix it.
The room is basically a basic Ibis hotel, as B&B took it over a few months ago. It’s clean but very basic. No soap to wash your hands. You have to go into the shower to use shower gel. The pillows are absolutely terrible (flat). I ended up folding towels to make a usable pillow. The shower did not drain. You end up standing in water up to your ankles. The windows are left open on arrival. Room was freezing. The heating system only blows out cold air. The parking is free. Other than that, and its cleanliness, I couldn’t recommend to anyone.

It's a clean 1-star hotel. I could give it another star for automatic convenience of check in at night and clean bedsheets. BUT the acoustics in the building is terrible- we were waken up by cleaning ladies before 8:00 who were doing a lot of noise, nocking to each door and talking very loud. Upon late arrival you are not given a choice of single / double beds, we got 2 single once which are extremely narrow. Towels are very thin and there was no A/C in the room. Additionally, we were given a room for smokers which had a terrible cigarret odour inside. The lady in the breakfast area is very friendly, the breakfast however very limited with almost no options for people with special dietary restrictions like gluten-free, lactose-free etc.

Very dissatisfied! 2x stay had best never again. The lady at the reception very unfriendly!!! The room is extremely cold, the heater works. Blankets and pillows horrible! For€ 55 a total loss. Besides, it smells very very unpleasant.
Please several times superior to that at the time of booking...
The woman with the dog as a deterrent!!! I'm really afraid that it itched a bit. I had 5 minutes at the door until the dog half a Meter to the side has been drawn and I had to turf with a heart as running. I had a visit of 5 min Without an overnight stay!!! This person had to pay 10€ just because you helped me with the Luggage upstairs! Abnormally !!!!! And stay alone I have done. The woman has really pushed the Stress and Trouble. I am so broken from all the travel, etc., Then even with your dog.... terrible !!!! So please, please don't go... unless you want to Stress, sleepless nights, Anger, etc.
NEVER AGAIN IBIS HOTEL !!!
