The bed is my challenge

They have underground parking for €10, although I hadn't found any mention of it. The underground parking was next to a broken sewer pipe, which was leaking smelly sewage. It was impossible to get close. When I went up to my room, I found the toilet seat and the French window leading to the balcony broken. I immediately informed the front desk. They fixed the seat, but they could have given me another room, since the hotel wasn't full. A bit disappointing, considering the reviews I'd read. Perhaps not all of them were true... First and last time.

Hotel and personnel were really good, location was at a busy road and dinner was not really good, just average, not spectacular. Breakfast buffet was great

Good hotel, with a bad breakfast experience.
We had 2 nights at the hotel. Everything except the breakfast on the day of departure was OK, there was breakfast until 10:00, we were there at 8:50 and the staff was busy with private chats, and almost all the platters with cold cuts and cheese were empty, just like there was no bacon, several people approached the staff, but only at 9:25 they started to bring cold cuts and as the last bacon, so a sour experience where some of the guests did not want to wait, sour show!!!

For 6 months I was getting emails that I owe them money because nobody bothered to check that I paid for room. When I wrote opinion on Google, they tried to frighten me with lawyer instead of saying sorry. I do not even know how to describe such lack of professionalism. Never got treated so badly in any hotel!

They wanted to charge me with nonexisting payment for months. Lied to me that they could not take money from my card and room is not paid. I was getting numerous mails even though I had invoice and gave them card number. Finally after proof from bank I think they left me alone. But I did not receive any "sorry" nor confirmation that everything is paid and there is no debt! Oh and parking is very small.

Very cute hotel stayed four nights for a business trip. Was very quiet, had second floor with balcony. Some sites say it has AC, but the AC is a giant fan…I didn’t need it but just FYI if you are traveling in summer.

Bedding could use a little upgrading with some newer pillows and covers; one was completely lumpy, one was feather and just went flat, then I asked for another and they gave me this weird tiny foam one. Ended up with a sore neck while I was staying. Mattress was comfortable.

The breakfast is very good with nice selection of hot and cold items and very nice coffee machine. Direct drop off from main train station with the bus if you’re coming from Frankfurt. I will definitely come back again if I am in Giessen.

The dark-haired woman at the reception was very arrogant. How can it be that a person who doesn't speak English works there? She was sitting in another room with the breakfast lady. I wanted to check out but had to wait for about 5 minutes before she came back to the front desk. The check out itself was very difficult since she couldn't speak english.
