ibis Frankfurt Airport in Kelsterbach

We stayed here for two nights after completing a six-week bike tour across Europe, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The staff were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. Everyone we met was warm and welcoming, which made us feel right at home.

We also enjoyed a great meal at the bar and restaurant — a perfect way to relax after a long journey. The location is very convenient, just a 10-minute bus ride from the airport and right next to a Lidl grocery store.

We’re truly grateful for the wonderful service and hospitality. Highly recommended!

The restaurant service was nice. The schnitzel was decent. Breakfasts were OK. Rooms were clean. Strange reception service ;) Bus to and from the airport.

We are from Canada and we just finished our bicycle ride(bikepacking) from Frankfurt to Budapest and back, crossing 5 countries in 6 weeks, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Switzerland, France. If you ask me and my husband about the highlights of our trip, Ibis Frankfurt Airport Hotel would come in the first place. More than anything, the staff comes first as they were extremely helpful. On planning our journey. We had never heard this hotel before. We just liked the look of it with red traditional German roof when we Google searched. It didn't look like the other humongous hotels, it looked like a home. We fell in love with it instantly.
The rooms were clean. The decoration all around the hotel is modern, warm and every wall you look at makes you smile and you don't get tired of looking at the drawings on the walls.
The staff, every single one, is the most helpful and knowledgeable people in this world. Without their help, the finishing part of our trip was going to be a chaos. They allowed us to store our bike boxes for 6 weeks. And their shuttle bus to/from the airport is so huge that we were easily able to transport our bikes. This might not be a big deal for someone else but it took a lot of worrying away from us. Bringing your own bike all the way from Canada is not an easy process.
The food also was excellent.
On the way to the airport, in the shuttle, we looked at each other with my husband and said "We should come back to Frankfurt just to stay at Ibis Frankfurt Airport Hotel". It's a hidden gem and we already miss it. Thanks everyone, even the lady who ran every single time to help me when i couldn't figure out the self serve fancy coffee machine during our buffet breakfast.
Thank you Ibis Frankfurt Airport hotel. Please don't change. You are better than the 5 star hotels. ❤️❤️❤️

The location of the hotel will be convenient for those who want to live near the airport. The hotel is very simple, the room is quite modest and small in area. It was disappointing that there was no clean drinking water in the rooms. The metro station is very far away, taxis are expensive. Otherwise, it will do for a couple of nights.

The service attitude is good, check-in and check-out are also very fast, there is a free car from the airport to the hotel, and the hotel to the airport is 6 euros.
